I using iphone 3gs.. Anybody out there using it at their bike as GPS etc... Anybody where to get the holder n casing that waterproof.. Any recomendation.. Thought of putting it on my busa... Anyone....???

hey guys, received my package last week, I have already started using the mount and casing. I am very satisfied with them. there is also a lanyard given, you can use them to farther secure your casing to the bike handle. got caught in the rain for the past few days, phone remains dry!

This is what i am using... If you place a weatherproof cigg lighter that will charge your iphone than you can go far but i dare not do it as i love my bike... i end up buying more portable battery... it can fit 3gs and iphone 4.. plus it is weather proof..

 

Tried a few times in heavy rain.. Usually the plastic would warp leaving a gap in the middle but i bent it a bit before placing my phone..

 

Never drop before when riding.. Did 150km/hr on it and still stable.. Sometimes i put on earphones and listen to music or listen to GPS direction which is recommended rather than looking at the device itself..

Bro, i want this! I am a noob on ebay. Care to give the direct link to the site? I've been searching for a waterproof iPhone mount and with S$50, i think its worth it! And is the whole assembly universal? As in, can it fit on all types of handlebars? TYIA. I have also PM'ed you. = )

Biologic Case is the cheapest solution to a weather proof case IMO for all its wonderful features. although it is made for bicycle it can be used on motorcycle safely and it is very stable. it is RRP @ $90 from authorised bicycle shops.

 

why go for this instead of a snap on case which is cheaper? again IMO, the weather is very unpredictable, our iphones are very expensive, warranty gets void when the indicator touch water, so when the rain suddenly comes u must straight away stop and keep ur iphone. whereas in the case of the biologic case, u can continue riding in light rain till u find a shelter. it is not recommended for heavy rain as u need to take note it is weather proof not waterproof.

 

other good function of this case that i dun see in other weatherproof or waterproof case is that this case can let ur charge ur iphone with the apple usb cable and listen to music on ur earphone while still keeping the iphone sealed in.

 

the case can also absorb impact and it is tightly clammed in and even if u drop it, the phone will not pop out - personal experience.

 

last but not least is that the form factor of the case is small and sleek

 

negative point of the case is that it can only be used for iphones (and maybe ipods if u put some sponge behind it as ipods are thinner.)

 

if u get a 100% waterproof case from ram mount example, it is going to be 100% waterproof, submerged in water also no problem. but u cant connect a earphone to it nor can u charge ur iphone while using it (as u all know iphone battery depletes rather fast) good thing is the case is going to be universal thanks to the larger size of it meaning to say u can fit in other kinda devices - this said it's going to look bulky.

 

above is my personal review of the case and my decision factors to get the case instead of other cases.

Heh guyz, I ll not get d tigra iphone bike mount... Instead i ll get d biologic iphone bike mount.. As i hv seen n feel the biologic one, im more confident compared to the tigra one.. Cos tigra one i hvnt see yet.. It may sound expensive however trusted one. Tigra not in spore.. I might get from supplier for a better price.. Sori atom.. If u wanna order again do beep me yah.. Currently got for 3gs.. If for iphone 4 need to ask... While stock last yah...
