Question on disc brakes

hi! for dual disc brake bikes, is it ok to use the left disc brake for the right calliper and vice versa?

If the disc is new or used but in good condition, it should be ok.

so other than aesthetics, it should work fine right? im only worried about braking power being compromised

Some disks are directional. Check if there are any directional arrows stamped onto the disk surface.

If it has been worn b4 then better dun coz of diffrence in wear & tear, also the direction of flow differs...
