Does raptor do it?? Normally how long do we true it?

Nope. Too time consuming for a one man shop. Depending on usage. I do it when I feel the back of the bike goes all wobbly when coming to a stop. Hehee.

Hi guys, what should I look out for if my throttle becomes heavier than before? Means like I need to use much more strength to twist the throttle and the engine feels much more rough than before. I just overhauled. Run in already. After run in also serviced already. I'm not a crazy rider. I go easy on the throttle most of the time. It became like that quite sudden. Not gradually.

Life is full of regrets but riding has never been one.

bro u did there before? how long and how much, if u know..?

No lah bro, saw they had the equipment to true. Raptor also got lobang but forgot where he mentioned.

First most basic u can check the throttle cable running to the engine, see if its disrupted by anything.

Mine seems to have the auto cruise function bro. If I just open the throttle lightly and release the throttle tube, it'll hold in place and rev! Haha. Stiff cable ar?

I did my truing at a shop in pioneer road north. Not too bad la. Changed my bearing also... The rear hub on drz has 3 bearings he says?

Sound like a stiff cable eh, idk from my experience i did encounter what u mentioned. Track down the throttle cable and found out if was rubbing on another cable thus when i release the throttle it slowly close instead of snapping back.

Thanks. The cable is clear. I noticed something else. Starting the bike is not as quick as last time. Last time I just have to clutch in and start. Now I have to play with the clutch before the bike starts to roar

Hi Guys, I just got my DRZ and am keen on bringing it to the track but i haven't done this before.

Anyone got tips on how i should go about doing it? Like is there like a group that organizes track days for DRZs?

U can go to Raptor MotorSports if u want, there's an uncle that u can talk to. DRZ, service, repairs, track, race, talk cock, beer, and anything under the sun.

Whats the damage for truning bro? And how long it takes ah?

I think less than $40. Cos I did some other stuff as well so don't have the exact breakdown.

How long depends on how bad isit lo. First time I did it took around 2 hours cos all the nipple and spoke seized. But the uncle regreased it so this time should be much easier to true. But I left my bike there for a day, so can't comment on how long he actually took.

The throttle grip has slid outwards and contacted the handguard... try pushing the throttle grip inwards... if not release the tension on the throttle cable.. its too tight.

Still dunno what I am talking about??? Bring the bike to me.. I show you how.

Will try checking clearance between grip and hand guard. If still cannot then find u adjust throttle. Later I throttle constant WOT then die liao. Thanks!
