A quick check, where to go for regular servicing (oil change, spark plugs, etc).

 

My previous bike shop say they dun service scooters. Also not going back to the default shop due to workmanship issues.

May I know how do I protect the plastic part of the sym from faded off. I know under uv sunlight it will cause damage to the plastic part. I have saw quite a number of scooter plastic part is already in bad condition.

you can try apply those car dashboard spray/cream on it once a month to protect it.. i do it monthly basis to prevent the plastic part turn grey~~

I just bought a second hand SYM GTS 200. rode for a week. nice riding it as i used to riding a sport bike... any advise on the following:

 

- where to service our bike?

- what EO to use?

- thinking of re-spray the bike to white as mine is black

Hello everybody, just new here and I own Sym 300i gts, new for almost 3 weeks, three things I want to ask about, fuel consumption is almost 31 km / L so far, I am not speaking at all more than 60 - 65 km, can I use the full synthetic oil 10w-40 last but not least I have very little vibration at the beginning of the beginning of the speeding from zero.

hi gogo... most of us also achieving fuel comsumption abt 29km/L-31km/L, using fully syn Engine oil also...

for the vibration at the beginning.. i believe is normal, i facing the same issue also...

hi gogo, for accessories wise quite limited... so far i only replace the front windshield, handle grip.... below is my bike pics....

gear oil i not very sure about it... maybe can advise from your country bikeshop....

Gogo, handle grip is Original from BMW spare part, sound system is customize from car accessories workshop, and for the box is K-MAX brand from Taiwan. Pricing wise i not sure abt US price... u may try e-bay or Amazon.
