Hi. I have just lube my chain using PJ1 chain lube but some of the chain lube accidentially stick to the wall of the rear wheel. Is there any way to remove the chain lube without damaging the tire? Can normal detergent or dish washing liquid clean off the the lube? I have tried using a cloth to wipe it off but now it become worst and it smear to a wider area due to its stickyness... Anyone any suggestion?

Also depends on how you take care of the chain, how hard and how much you ride.

My guess would be probably not more than half a year?

Very hard to tell u wat brand la. Gold plated chain is available in most brands like DID, EK, RK............etc.

Maybe ur mechnic sell u a 2nd hand one.

For the noise, it's either insufficient lubricant or may be ur mechnic use the wrong size. Wrong size chain will cause improper and excess wear to both the spockets

Check ur chain, if it move side by side with a lot of clearance along the teeths.

If it does, be prepare to change the whole chain drive next time.

Well I tightened my chain yesterday n realised that my chain tension has gone beyond the (change ur chain slot indicator). Thinking of changing to AFAM sprocs n DID x-ring or original sprocs n DID x-ring. Anyway I quite broke nowadays due to heavy lost in mahjong sessions :giddy: and was hoping that my current chain can tahan until rite b4 lunar new year. Will that be ok
