Pingster If u want to DIY on the rust removal (topic been discussed up b4 in this forum), suggest you get those hi temp spray paint (from Mustafa or a shop call SLS Bearings 371 Serangoon Rd) I got mine from Mustafa (n its call RJ Hi temp paint, lots of colors also) However do remove the rust n grease (see instruction on can) b4 the paint and pick a hot day to do this for quick drying

Brothers....regarding about the removing the rust...i advice dun remove the rust...let it be....even u remove the rust and spray paint again...the rust will come back....over time u r reducing the thickness....i was adviced by Chan at M-teknik...

Perhaps instead of VOGS, another name that can relate and signifies the varadero 125cc would be appropiate

I wear spectacles, so no sun-glasses. Thought of putting a layer of tint film on my visor.......

can only have 30% of tint...

that means 70% of light must be able to pass through...

 

if u get caught by TP....they will use a device to test....

only TP have the approved device....

 

if u want to buy at any shop and the shop says it's approve...then use it at ur own risk....u won't know how much tint until tested by the device.....

Pingster, i know how u feel, look at the bike, suddenly.. exhaust... dark orangy...rusty....

 

About removing the rust... well i too want to do it.. and [daniyal] has a good point about the exhaust might rust again..

 

BUT..

if you guys notice simon's bike... so far.. its been like so many months since he re-sprayed it.. and last i saw.. the exhaust.. is still black.. no rust..

 

i suppose if the spray.. is good.. it will last... at most after a year... just respray a new coat..

 

anyways.. im GAME to respray it... as i just notice.. lots of rust.. on the big part of the exhaust.. seems its slowly spreading...

 

so pingster.. if its the weekend.. and im free.. dont mind meeting up with you to respray the exhaust.. just.. need to know the proper way to remove it...

aiyah the exhaust i gonna respray lah after the long trip to nilai the spray came out. When i was just doing my riding in singapore the paint didnt came out. now m trying to find a higher temp spray the last one i think was up to 550c. will update u guys.

abbattory amacam budak 125 smua port pat bedok 511, since alot of gd food n nostalgic for me, i used to live in blk 501 yrs back but food still great only price gone up cuz eggs ex abit...hehehe!

 

 

yem paul u can share some experience of ya old vara days, btw st11 very heavy man, more over my leg like jelly since i jack up my preload higher like cant feel da ground sei.....

 

chow ya tinted must not be too dark till others cant see ya eyes, like my pro grip google i kena stop wif da two tp girls at ah boy but they said mines ok, got light sensitive lens, but now hot sun wear oakley lah beb not so hot but yet so cool...hehehe!

 

visual like daniyal said dun waste time spraying da rust only spoil ya exhaust juz change new yoshi or arrow legal ones...but if got alot of $$$$$den buy another new spare bike lah...hehehe!
