To those who have a top box mounted on your bike, I have always experienced that my front handling wobbles left and right when I negotiate a bend (not a corner) between 40km/h to 60km/h.

 

I thought wheel alignment out, suspension spoil, handle bar loose, cone bearing koyak...so I brought to Boon Siew a few times. They check and everytime they say happens to all bikes due to the weight of the top box!! I have told them that even with an empty box, the wobling happens. By the way, tyres pressure and thread are fine - Pirelli Scorpion.

 

Do any of you experience this wobbling too?

Mine is a Kappa 48L Topbox. No problem negotiating bends; from 50 to 100km/hr.

Mine got problem when reducing speed but its when it on a straight road

Bike shakes when reducing speed from 70-60 km/h

And mine was comfirm the tires problem

Varas you did say you know what our fellow muslim brothers can eat or cannot eat. So if a chinese shop selling chicken rice, there is a sign stating no pork no lard. Do you think the muslim brothers can eat? Not picking up a fight here, but most non-muslim claim that they know what we muslim can eat or cannot eat. The truth is you guys still quite unsure. I am a muslim.

Babybike There could be 2 possibilities of why your bike wobbling. First must be tyres. Second it is your suspension pressure. If i am not wrong, 15-20psi for each suspension. You can go boon siew again. Ask them to pump air into your front suspension.

 

I was just wondering why suddenly quite a number 1000 riders post here. Is it because niti mentioned something like 125 got no link to 1000? Or is it you guys really feel that the 125 are also part of the VAR-A family?

baby bike i dun tink its da top box cuz da bike wobble cuz got alot of reason, like gear, tire, etc?

 

i got side box n top box on everyday even in cte jam n find it very hard to wobble unless gear down too soon den cant corner flat like b4 cuz love my precious side box from 219 shop...hehehe!

could be your wheel bearing or many possible reasons. m not using a top box n it vibrates at slow speed. btw how old or rather new is your bike.
