hmm..just finish the first fuel run..only 310km before reserve lights turn on (mixed riding)..hopefully can get better mileage when out in m'sia

3-Full tank mileage (400km before reserve) 2l reserve (can go 50km but i suggest u think of it as 40km... just incase.. )

4-price of the bike - 2nd hand.. 2 ppl selling off 6ofitall & varadero_1984...6-7k range.

I service my bike at Sanfu motor at kakit bukit. Like the service there and they really know big bikes. Paid $80 for the original air filter last time. Will get the K&N one next time, should be around $130 or so - but must order in advance, will probably take them a while to get it in.

 

If you don't have time to wait and want the k&n filter (I highly recommend it!) you can try motoworld, they seem to be quite well stocked.

hey guys bout the crash bar i have contacted another shop bout the items. its brand is five- star from germany. not givi. i have yet to get a quote i will be getting the diagram by next week will post it out. also will ask bout the crash bar for the vara 1000. anyone got a quote from biketech 21. will probably confirm the quantity n price by the end of this month.

 

x-trail we have ordered the bagster from motoworld do u really want it maybe can go down together its was quoted at 160 intially but the boss said will give discounts cos already ordered 4 with urs is 5. u really interested will go down with u tomorrow ok.

dun wan sell already..not much time for me to enjoy my ride..left 2weeks..after tekong i still can use as my transport to n fro camp..

hey there, thought bout ordering the accessories month by month. one month one accessories to make it easy on our budget. so that more guys will get the items n so we can concentrate on one item at a time.

 

for this month i think we should just get the tank bra

Motorworld and Looi's are selling the mainstand for $300/++. Checked with them before. They also have to import.

 

The air filter I also want to change. Checked and found that K&N filter dun have model for varadero XL125V and the Honda stock filter cost more than a hundred a piece. If ur can find suitable K&N filter pls let me know.

I am thinking to buy the new 2004 Vara 1000, but heard that there are some engine or other problem which may result in a RECALL of machine. Hence, i wld like to ask if anyone in this forum owns a new 2004 vara 1000 so i can verify.

hey there i found out the part number for the varadero 125 air filter its

17211KPC640 i'm in the process on contacting mark at http://www.davidsilverspares.com hasnt reply yet with the price. his rates are 30%cheaper then honda prices. but then again it costs for the freight costs so ordering one would not be cheap but ordering in numbers would be a better bet.

 

bs honda price is 188 which is atrocious!
