yeah guys i had mine died on me for a few occasions. i dont think it was the power cut though i was crusing at 10k rpms. when i stoped the bike at the road shoulder n crank the bike a few times didnt start. initially thought out of fuel so i turn to reserve n then crank it again. it switched on... so i proceeded to refuel when i refuel i only found out that it topped out 10l. i think i need to service the fuel line.

that was like 1month after i got the bike, suddenly a traffice light the bike went dead on me! tried to start.. cannot.. pushed it to the side to start.. but cant..!

 

after a while.. its ok.. then when i was riding pn ecp.. can feel the powerrt loss!

 

didint know what to do.. the bike has died on me!

 

like what u did... i switch to reserve, and it worked..

 

*now days when i get that problem of power loss, switch to reserve while riding.solved the problem*

 

so your case.. i dont know... mine i can confirm.. petrol has reached the 'reserve;' line..

Hie bro i'm new here.... thought of getting my self a vara 125 if i pass my 2nd TP this comming Monday 31th may..... looking @ ur daily post it looks like this bike give alot of problem..... got any comments?? if i 1 2 buy this bike which shop u recomend me to go?? looking foward to ur reply. thanks....

I think any machine will have problem eventually. Nothing runs forever.

yep agreed, i guess everybike will have its ups and down, its advantages and disadvantages,

the world is not perfect.

 

but if your considering vara125, well personally i feel if you like it, get it, dont ask too much questions..

 

cos for 2B there are only a few type of bike u can get

 

scramblers range

 

sports bike range

 

scooters range

 

cruiser range..

 

decide on the range and look at the bike...

 

 

a bike is about you and your personality.. that what bikes are all about...

 

but if you want easy maintanence,

Wave lah.. its actually quite cool, a fully Mod wave.. looks pretty cool actually.. but you have to be a person into that kind of bike and art and style.. if your aint.. then youll never be happy..

 

 

me im always happy with my vara125... since day 1.

 

so what make u tick, what bike give u the 'feeling' then just get that..

 

 

personally if i didint get vara125, the next cool bike i'd get is

 

tw200... that one cool bike when mod... (naked mod look) but i was told parts and servicing difficult and exp..

 

you cant win them all..

You can go down to Eunos Super Bikes. 6ofitall, just brought back his translap and leave the Vara125 there for sale. Go and check it out, his bike is very power in its look and very well maintained. When you look at it, you will like it.

After a couple of minutes wait the engine will start again. If I tried to start immediately it will crank untill battery run out. Had a few mechs look at it and they all try to chop you, want to make you change all kinds off stuff without knowing the actual problem. I got especially bad experience with motoworld mechanics.

 

I had it down service at Sanfu and turns out the problem was the FUEL PUMP. After I changed the fuel pump my bike is funning fine. Actually I also changed the battery and generator, cos worn out. Just a heads up, maybe you want someone to have a look at your fuel pump.

so how do u comute to work? via bus?
