I think this is the varadero's alternator. Some bikes' alternator is outside, looks like cars one, but for vara, it is hidden inside the engine cover.

no worries bro we are all mature adults who love riding here, lets get back to da fun part of gadgets & mods to occupy all da droolin mouth.....hehehe!

juz 2 share wif dat time ah wah, swap da old less powerful condenser, wif higher output one juz to get hazard lites to work seamlessly, but i gotta switch on either left or right signal b4 u on da hazard switch...

w/o da condenser da hazard lites seem to suck try ya batt life unless u rev, but dat defeats da purpose cuz if bike really breakdown how can rev & maintain stable idlin thru out?

another point to high lite any additional fog or hazard u tap power from ya batt, u gotta lay groundin aka earthing to protect ya bike circuit & 10amp fuse if i aint wrong...

Pro-dero>> nope , the alternator cannot be of ducati. Its just rectifer ( its a small box like thingy) The alternator is bascially connected to the engine plant.

As for custom made ur own pipe, need to be very accurate with the angle of the bending. Thats the only tricky part which I think so.

curious..what does this mean? u guys rigged up some 'tripod' stand that is hooked up to the bike handle basr for 'in-bike' video shots?

thats should interesting... (i might be able to borrow my vidcam for such an experiment)

Al-Simmons / Aikon

For rideliquid's bike the switch is independent, I can't really remember the details, but what i saw during the installation, the guy just create a new circuit but tap onto the main signling circuit. Btw, rideliquid for ur info, the horns and the aux light shared the same relay with fuse, i was confused at that point of time u asked, hehe.....

Maybe Aikon, we'll find a day we go down to Sin Ming Auto,and I will asked him on the spot to clarify the installation??

And also for the grounding, i understand that by default all bikes are grounded, but actually i meant that in order to acheive a better stablised voltage, can try consider changing the grounding wire, as is has better conducting properties.
