thanks guys for coming down namely ,dakar n gf, lucifer, x-trail, suhaimi 6ofitall n azman. for the rest who couldnt make it well there's always next time.

we met x-trail, azman n suhimi at sentosa then moved off to east coast around 2220. then we met lucifer n dakar around 2245 when we got to east coast. we chit chat n waited for niti n 6ofitall. 6ofitall arrived at 2315 then we headed off to changi. had some supper.

lucifer left at 0030 n met up with some pkc members. suhaimi n x-trail had to go home. we circled round the bapok spot at changi before deciding on a spot to take our pics.i was eager to get a bapok to pose with me on the bike eheh however we went to another spot. we manage to take a group shot. wasted lucifer was not there he had to leave early. Next we decided to go down to cemetary at jalan bahar. there we not many cars around. i didnt know how fast we were doing but we took a slow trip back home. I guessed we topped at arond 100km/h. suhaimi on his super4 was irriatating the crap out of me by riding so close too me. took the ecp then aye pie then bke. x-trail left first at bouna vista exit. then we excited clementi. suhaimi went home at bukit batok.

dakar, 6ofitall, azman n me proceded to the cemetary. it was a nice straight wide road leading to the cemetary n the air was really cool. 6ofitall look kinda funny cos his jacket mushroomed n he looked 2wice his size ehehe. when we headed to the narrow roads to the cemetary i found myself the last bike i kept looking at the side mirrow hoping nothing had followed me. it had some nice winding roads but it was a smooth ride with no traiffic. then we stopped at the coast guard post were we had to wee wee.

we chit chat bout our bikes. trip to maldives n bout diving. left there around 0300.

hope to see u guys soon again!

Sorry fellas..I won't be able to make tonight's meeting. I just got back from an overseas trip and must have picked up a 1 inch screw in my rear tyre on my way back from the airport. With this said, i don't think it is advisable for me to do much moving around till i have my tyres changed.

Anyone with any recommendations of other tyres...other than the stock Bridgestone Trailwings, preferably road type tyres......

The tires cannot plug meh? Else everytime kena have to buy new ones. Where got money? Plugging around 6 dollars.

Yeah plugged it today. Paid 7 bucks for it. Didn't know i could plug it. Still quite new to this bike thing. But i learn something everyday..heh heh. Still itchy to buy new tyres though. I wanna get the road types as i'm always on the road. Plus it will reduce drag from the current stock tyres. Most likely will get better mileage from my current 30l per km and grip too.:cheer:

If u using 30L to run a kilometre I think u should not only change tires but bike.

30 km per litre is it?

indy u tried metzeler tyres. u prefer road tyres on u bike some recommedations are me1 n me330/550

http://www.metzelermoto.com/product_info/c...nome=ME_330/550

try hkl they are kinda cheap for tyres but beware u must state exact sized tyres n what brand u want. make sure u get the same brand n type of tyres for front n back. tell them u wanna see it first before installing. cos they may have either the front or rear then just insist u put a diff tyre in the front or rear it they have no stock. if they don't have a tyre ask them to order n quote the price.

Heh heh heh..yeah 30km per litre.

Simone>> Thanks for the info abt HKL. Yeah I'll check the tyres before installing and even the expiry date. Heard that they give you old tyres if you didn't know any better. Those tyres look sweet bro.

yupz hkl are kinda cheap on their tyres. m using ME1 road tyres. 6ofitall is using tourance tyres more like an off-road tyre. tourance tyres usually comes stock with the BMW GS.

Yups m using metz tourance... great tyres for on and off road...stable for cornering too...got it for $266... thats the cost of the tyre as was told by my bike shop, they did not earn anything from it, reason being, they quoted me wrongly by giving me lower price when i initially asked... so u guys dun hope to get them any cheaper or even at the same price as i got them....270-280 will be gd enuff... and if u lucky enuff that they quoted lower price, which most probably they quoted wrongly (maybe for ME55 or Enduro 3/4) then dun wait just grab it, and if they realised the mistake, try insisting on the promised price or get them to sell u at cost price (which was wat i did)....good luck in looking for a gd tyres for yr vara dudes....
