Need some help here..

 

1) Undercowl and crashbar.

Went to First Motor to have a look. Is the crashbar by them good? For the undercowl, it's fabricated of fiberglass. Thought it should be of metal. Any bros here got theirs as fiberglass? Good?

 

2) thought of getting the inflatable ABS jacket for the trips you guys are organising. any recommendations?

 

3) The african twin handle bar. Any where else to get beside Mtechnik? Really no fate with them. Went there 3 times and 3 times went away empty handed. They're selling the AT handle bars w/o inserts. No main stand (need to wait for 3 months). No HP top & side boxes in stock. Bros, anyone know where else for the handle bar? I'm going to motoworld to try my luck for the mainstand and windshield.

 

4) Hella fog lights. Guess this would come in good for the night rides in malaysia. Any one got recommendations? Thinking of getting one that runs from a secondary battery and can be dismantle easily when in singapore.

This is the planned timing. If we are late, we will wait for the gate at 1500 hrs.

Riders are encouraged to take plenty of rest. The first pit-stop is about 2 hour ride.

the worst thing happen to me this morning....... a bus driver is trying his best to do parallel parking, reverse his bus and knock my bike rite in front of me.... luckily i am not on the bike.... then when i went up to driver he said " aiyah, you help me to carry the bike up and no one will see." Then i told him tats my bike and i demand his help....

 

when we lift the bike up.... he lift it from the windscreen.... well done moron.... my windscreen broke..... the holder for the nut craked.... and best thing is i can't even screw a new windshield........

 

 

guyz help me man...... i manage to get his contact personal reference and he willing to pay for damages but not to call police.... but since my whole front dashboard cracked.... where to replace??? and how much would it cost?

Heard from my friend that he has just installed a voltage stabilizer. Said if buy 3 get one free. One cost about S$80/= for smaller CC bikes. I have actually found 2 riders . Plus me 3. Need one more. Anyone interested?

IMO the material is not as good as the SW Motech ones. But since it's 3 point compared to the SW Motech, it will not eat in to ur fairing easily.

The fabricated undercowl is fiberglass, and yes it cracks easily. But i've been using mine for more than a year and it had not cracked yet. Just be aware of where you are riding at.

Just get a normal jacket with good armour and comfortable enough for you. Lots of brand to choose from, the lower range ones from Rjays, GPR to the higher range like Clover, Dainese.

need to ask from those who have installed the handle bar. wild_i and newtsuit may be able to help you.

Hella lights good to use. But after a few trips riding at night, you'll be confident enough riding with only your headlamps. That includes riding through heavy rain, mist and fog. Just make sure you don't bang onto those flying 'things'. Anyway it's a good to have thing. Not so sure bout running from second battery. Maybe the other electrical "experts" can advise on this.

Dear bros,

 

 

i juz came out of SGH last nite as i was involved in a hit & run accident by a white passenger van, nearby RELC hotel at orange grove road & fernhill road around 6.45pm.

 

2 expatriate passerby helped me out of the from being run over by on coming vehicle during the drizzling rain, as i suffered mild abrasion on my right elbow, knee & foot, i was taken by ambulance.

 

i am appealing for any eyewitnesses to help me & the investigating officer to find the culprit who may cause danger to other riders & driver on the roads.

 

i am riding a red/white striped ducati monster FR plate.
