It will be great if someone who is good with their hands can come on down too, see how its done, then guide the other Varas.

Its quite a simple bike actually, just have to know how to work your way around it. And if someone knows how to remove the fairing, even better, can mount inside.

The fairing is a hassle to remove. Seen the mechanics at Sanfu doing it ater messing with it for a while, my bike. There's alot of screws to be remove and u will need an extra helping hand when removing and fitting on.

Agreed, and problem with stuff like this is like those old toys with springs inside,

when u open it, stuff fly off and etc.. waht ever, but when u wanna put it back its not as simple a splacing it over and screwing it, its a balancing act, of plaching this and that and the washer the rubber etc.. im not refering tot he ferring but i feel its similar,

fixing it is a balancing act..

ive tried for fun lah, to remove the rear light plastic, fixing it back on was a challenge as there is a rubber lining thinge that falls of so easily..

so i guess need to know the tricks to remove it, else u be riding sad.. with a fering thats not fixed properly..

At boon siew i changed both spark plugs ($20), oil filters ($12.50) and engine oil ($13). I got some probs with rear stop light coz when stopping the lites just wont lite up. So they changed the bulbs and the faulty brake switch, cost me $15. Since my bike is parallel import, i need to pay another $52 for labour charges. So total is $118. Then the mechanic tuned my brakes for me (no more squeeky sounds) and asked me to sit on the bike while he tuned the chain for me.

Considered that the bike are preofessionally done ah, hehee.

dis 7th i think i cant make it lah. Dat nite i werk nite shift. The nex day got to rest already coz on the 9th kena ndp duty again...

wa ur engine oil so cheap mine is 1 litre $20 but get 10% so $18 but they 1 buy 2 bottle they only top up 1.3 n the remainder they give me back for next use so only buy one bottle..

ur service charge however is dam expensive leh. eh the rear breake light bulb only 2 bucks lah.

i only recommend going there if u wanna do normal service like change oil filter change oil n spark plug. cos the rest if u go there frequently they will check for u FOC. like tighten of chain n cleaning ur brake pad. i also got a free engine tune up from them. n also go there early when they have nothing to do.

how coem u didint go to bs to get it replaced? pricy?

anyways.. you migth already know this but.. just incase..

heres the stroy, few days ago, some 'monkeys' itchy hand go and loosen my clutch cable (at the handle bar screw, they unscrew it till its lose this i cant achieve half-clutch, have to throw the lever all the way back before the gears engage..

me being the person who knows crap about bike and all t his.. of course.. didint know what to do..

but guessed it had somehting to do with the cable..

stoped the bike.. after a while figured out how to 'tightened' it..

so ur case is it.. the clutch want to open very hard to squeeze?

coudl adjustment of the clutch bolts.. makes it better...

i think they used sumting called Shell Advance. The techinician recommend that we used a fully synthetic oilfor our type of bike.... supposedly able to last for 5000km per change
