how did it have much improvement, after the power boosters... did u ask the mechanic what it does acutally cos i also quite blur ... supposedly its to provide more efficent electricity to your spark plugs.

in my previous post i had a diagram of the exhaust. In the actual pics we didnt take the pics when we were taking out the exhaust we took the pic AFTER the exhaust was out! eheh

btw did u installed ur mainstand ,... n where are u staying now. me at clementi

The lower torque has seemed to improve and overall pick up has also improved. Cant really describe but can feel the difference.

Yes, centre stand already installed by M-Technik. I'm at Taman Jurong.

Are there anymore "west"erners here? Maybe a west side meeting on one of the Friday nights, now only has the bike over weekends.

French vara,

I have installed the power booster (2 units). One to the battery(I think) and one at the gas tank.

The power did improve shortly after installation. It is a Honda product. Didn't get the photos looks similar to the UNIchip used for car.

Since installing your power booster, and as you have mentioned feeling a slight power increase, has it also increased your fuel consumption? Could you do a check on what your mileage is like now as compared to before the booster.

Yeah, mileage shall be monitor this week, over two sessions.

It used to be abt 420km for one tankful (avgerage speed of 80-100km/hr).

SO will see by this week how it goes.

Visual>> Sept is fine.

A rear hugger is the same thing as a front fender but it is located at the rear, obviously. Check the guys rear tyre, there's something over it..

ok i get it... (not very noticable at first)

anyways.. i was looking at suzuki bandit, its 'rear hugger' size and al , looks pretty close and looks as if it could fit on a vara125..

wonder if we could go to junk yard and find a bandit ... to try

Just got back home. went down with azli niti couldnt make it cos he was waiting for the cable guy... from starhub.

however the bad news is .. gotta to make the payment by this week latest fri or sat. n gotta make full payment. Cos he doesnt wanna hold any stock.

waiting for indy to find out the price at m-tecknick... (remember wat i told u eheh)

The pic was on the french website dam nice eh.. i like the windscreen. u know the seat cost bout $(s)600++

dont think the rear hugger could get from the bandit as the it is connected to the chain guard too. Anyway personally think the rear hugger wouldnt last it probably would crack esp when it goes over a humps or bumps at high speed. Looks wicked though. If only ah boy could fabricate one for us i know the super 4 ones only cost $60 and the undercowl only $30.

the front mudguard i like do u think its painted over? I doubt so.

err i also like the exhaust leh... cos of the sound u guys should hear the sound dam garang lah.

was serching for the catalog for sw-motech guess the guys in biketech 21 really did their homework.

I downloaded the cataloge from the dealer site

http://www.mo-tech.de/dokumente/sw_motech_2004.pdf (6617kb)

it states that it is 109 euro converted to the exsisting rate it is $(S)230 so we got $25 discount but only if we order 7 pieces.

here the pic from the catalogue

if you guys noticed..most Varas from France are very nice..hhhmmm...anybody in good terms with AH-BOY?..he's the only one that can produce all this product... LOCAL or ORIGINAL...hahahhaha...thats what he always says in his sexy voice... :cheeky:

thats how PERELLI Scorpion looks like..the one on the evil Vara..

Do Ah-Boy has a website.? or email address?..maybe we can email him pic of all the weird parts for the Varas...who knows one day all this equipment may be on sale..just like V-Tec..before that when it first came out..very hard to get the parts. but now..like fish in the market ...

by the way..did the booster really help?.what is the top speed after installing a booster? remember guys..by installing booster will only increase the revolution of the engine but it will not increase the CC of the engine. There is a whole package to look into if one really ones to have more power..example..to increase the CC of the engine we have to rebore the piston.BUT max re-bore is 3x.After that it will cut through your water jacket where your coolant runs.Air filter also plays a part. Spark plug and source of ignition is also important. Type of spark plug also important. Carb jetting also involved much. All this done to the engine will confirm increase the fuel consumption..

Sprockets front & back also plays the part. even some bike shop mechanic told me to change the rim to smaller ones. small tires like RZX. then better for distance..don't know weather true or not lah about the tire. Hahaha then become racing bike already lah..

so be really really careful when dooing anything with the engine.VARADERO is a V-TWIN engine..62.5cc on each piston..I heard for a friend that V-engine is expensive to service...

Ok lah guys..i talk too much..hope that you guys don't think that i trying to act clever huh..just for information purpose huh..

this Sunday 22Aug for the spray painting session..will confirm with Simone again lah.... i'll try to bring the tools then..:thumb: :thumb:

The rear hugger unlikely to crack due to humps cos it's fixed to the swing arm. So it will follow the suspension and should not hit the tyre.

New models comes with it I think.
