Hi guys,

Wanna ask 2 questions....

1) Is it possible to install 2 electric stebel horns without using a relay? both rated at 12V. Basically I want to install 1 high pitch n 1 low pitch horn

2) I intend 2 have another battery installed 4 e fog lights n misc electrical stuff.... Is it hard to charge both batteries since we can only charge after 5 rpm? coz i read b4 someone on the forum ever done so on the right side abv e exhaust....

Well Its true. .... I am getting the Garmin 550. Its retailed at S$1590/-. But its one sweet baby.....

I am up for the Scott Oiler and Meet-up this friday and paying the S$10/-.... and whatever else that is on the agenda.. well if there is talk about a KTM sure,,,, why not.. if we can get Toobez and Hus to sit on the miniature and a least move 10 cm heheheheheh... its all yours to ride..... 1) there are stebel horns that come with 2 different pitches.. personally i am using the magnum 2 and no complaints so far.. would not recommend not using a relay cuz then u would most likely be having fireworks for fuses..

2) again personally i am no a fan of doing any electrical mods.. most likely for a 2nd battery you would need another rectifier and a whole bunch of work done.. i am not sure what RPM u start to charge the battery but you could check with guys that have voltmeters and seeing at what RPM the voltage gets higher than 12volts? i think even with foglights, horns and all that stuff that with proper relays and wiring that the stock battery is enough.. what other misc stuff you looking at? hi-fi system with subwoofers?

since the last ride was a pretty rough n tough one(for some at least).. howzabout a costal ride to tanjung leman beach just to relak there.. maybe head to pendas for some seafood dinner after?

I would believe there is already a relay for the stock horn. To check, just disconnect one leg of the wires to the horn, and you hear a single "clicking" sound everytime you press the horn button, that means you there is a relay somewhere in the system. In this case, you don't need to add another relay, just connect up the horn(s) directly.

I would recommend Hella Dual Tone, it's about $55 at Mustafa, it's definitely superior to the stebel horns in every way, price including. They come in black or red only.

Make your vara125 sounds louder than a vara1k

There isn't any advantage for carrying an extra battery if your alternator remains stock. Instead of having one fully charged battery, you end up having two half charged batteries. Having 4x fog lights (presumbly is 55w each) is definitely overkill and will definitely will put a strain on your stock battery. Two auxilliary lights are more than sufficient, and personally I would prefer to have 1x fog, and 1x driving lamp. Going by this configuration, there is no need to modify the vara125 electrical system. However in order not to drain out the battery prematurely, only use the auxilliary lights when the bike is on the move.
