in that case, have to check your fuses beside your seat. if not check your battery whether expired or not. If yes, then change the rectifer together with the battery.

wah 3 yrs and only 13k thats good ... mine barely 2 yrs hitting 30k ..soon...

 

anyways.. i too dont hink the cause is battery, its just the instrumental panel for some vara125.. faulty..

[varaStromer] if u sould meet up with simon, go check out his... i too suspected.. some lose connection with the fuse box..removed all the fuse and inserted it again..

(btw.,. that trick worked for vara84!)

but on simon's it didint work.. only rpm works.. the rest..dead...

 

i read some other vara125 riders posting in uk.. seems they had the same problem.. they had the whole panel removed (500++ euro.. i think) and then it works..

 

but im sure.. the issue could just be a burn out transistor...that misght cpst less then $10 but to replace entire thing would cost $800-900++!!!!

 

 

i always feel that we sould write into honda, ask about this, and what they can do if it gets spoilt.. i dont think replacing it is a good idea...

without the speedo i just go with the traffic flow.. so in most of the time im not speeding eheheh

The product is from Germany, in fact I personally felt that it is much sturdy than the original one......:cheeky:

first hand (last i heard was) 11k++

 

2nd hand (depends on the person who sells)

vara84 is selling for 6k ++

i sold my bike to pingster at Everbright Motor Cycles Co, den he took loan from that shop but the shop haven't pay me anything and took the logcard and bike already.

But got black and white which states:

 

'Sold HONDA XL125V1 Bike No FVxxxxM to Everbright Motor Cycles Co on 24/09/04 at 5.20pm for $6,600-

 

I will collect the cheque upon completesion of documentation

 

Others: this transaction will be valid only upon approval of the buyer'

 

izzit enough to prove tat the bike shop still owe me that amount?

Think before you speed, cameras are all over the place now
