By the way..is it normal for varadero rpm high..for my bike, if go 80km/h..my rpm will hit 9rpm..100km/h, will hit 11rpm..is dis usual?

maybe we should go down to Angsana to do the stickers..i know the guys there.. last time i customised my WR200 sticker into all orange KTM sticker...they do it for me ya....we can choose the exact font also.....

That is a lil high. For my bike when I'm doing 80km/h i'm hitting 8K RPM and 100km/h at 10k RPM. From what i know this is usual for all stock Vara 125s.

I went to BS..they suggest me to change to a smaller rear spocket..from 44 to 42..i dun know whether it is a good idea..but they are pro..thx wild i..

From my experience I trust BS enough to do what they say. They definitely know what they're talking about(in terms of our mean a$$ machines) compared to most Motortiams.

I am going down after the 10 10 2004..to do my spockets and chain on my payday..if i am not wrong, u r looking for the speedo right..i can ask for u..if u wanna..i go to BS almost everyday..

everyday??? :confused:

if possible, help me ask them regarding the display indicator.

my problem is the trip meter will reset itself when i open throttle....

and also the digital display, it will display some error...

lastly, the swinging of the speedometer fr 0-140, and bike in neutral and i open throttle, the speedo indicator will also go up...

sound like a lot of problems rite....

Dude..it's good and all that you're gonna go to BS to replace your sprocket and chain but my suggestion is since that they have already told you what to do i would advise you to go elsewhere to change your sprocket and chain. I bet at BS they'd use stock part whereas by going elsewhere you can put in the DID parts like the X ring chain and the sprocket which would be much better. Secondly from experience, changing parts at BS costs an arm so i dont think you wanna loose a hefty sum of your pay. Plus with using DID products it is WAAAY better than the stock parts.

 

Well I reckon you go ask around how much it costs to install the DID products from motortiams and then ask BS how much their parts costs and if they have DID products too.

 

I feel it's good to go to BS for a full servicing once a year and to fix specialized problems like Pingster's Speedo problem but the rest well there are other cheaper alternatives. Bu i must add I have never seen anyone handle my bike with such care at BS. Just my 2 cents worth...heh

Let's do it on a Sunday......go in makan, then do stickers, then ride around maybe to Desaru or whereever and come back Spore.......

 

Can't wait to lay hands on the stickers....maybe each one of us can customize our bike with stickers setup like Niti's :cheeky:

i changed my chain(DID X-ring) and sprokets(original) at ah boy there, cost me $160. But remember muz bargain wif them:smile:

i got Irritating Assignment Due soon, then its Fasting month... then its EXAM! AGHH!!!... so the 'varaAdventure' sticker if you guys going and if it looks good... (similar color schemeand font to the one i posted) then ill definately would want it.. (to replace my bloody BS sticker)

 

Hope the color wont be those awful greeen, or orange.. i think , (the combo of grey, white and black).. is good.. that color works for black, blue, red vara125)

 

anyways.. if its After Hari raya (nov 15) desaru or Even KL also im on!

 

last note..

in Dec.. (mid dec) hope you guys can clear leave maybe we can plan a 2-3 days trip up to KL or where ever thats interesting.. so far (wild_i, simon, dakar... are keen) the rest.. do consider..
