CHAIRMAN, pls try to plan a trip after end of this month k?? will be waiting for you.... hahaha!!!

U think I very free huh!!! hahah exams finish right u plan la... ;p

Havent even reach Muar,ur asking to go Hatyai...haha

Im not good in organizing...why dont You do the Honor...

Muar and Hatyai very near la... trust me... keke its a matter of perspective onli...:>

Organising dun need skills wan... use the "top up" template as above...

okok...u tell me the date u wan... I'll post on UR BEHALF...

hey bros...

im still new to the vara bike...

as the bike has no fuel indicator,

i know is to use to tripmeter, but after how many km do i need to top or change to reserve..??

Yea we all use the mileage to calculate. generally a vara can hit abt 400km on a full tank. some can hit 35okm b4 reserve..some can hit 400km b4 reserve. mine for example...(with my damm full throttle style of riding all the time!) usualy hits abt 380km b4 reserve. Reserve tank is 2.5L...so atlest another 50km to go bro.

In essence...be prepared to top up / switch to reserve ard 370km-400km.

usually the engine will start to cough and choke wen no fuel...den jus switch to reserve and go find petrol. :thumb:

To play safe... I'd top-up full. And for every 200km i'd top up again...usually for every 200km it would cost me around $13-$14...

in such circumstances u've forgotten to take note of how many KM u've gone...usually u could FEEL the difference when riding..

instincts would immediately tell u that ur running low.. .... ..

hahha...ok 200km is abit toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Safe babe. refer to above post. :>

most varas consume 23 - 29km/l.. seeing as the tank(if i remember correctly) is 17.5 liters of which 2 is reserve.. you should get between 350 - 420km before reserve and another 50km after.. just remember to have your fuel c o c k on 'ON' when pumping.. i know of a hero here that made 470km on a tank and then topped up 16.7l.. go figure.. :thumb:

I travel from Tampines to Boon Lay daily, total about 70+ km. If I don't go anywhere else, can probably last me the whole 5 weekdays before going to reserve.

You can try calculating your mileage after you top up full tank (make sure your fuel lever is switched to on, as mentioned by toobez!). Once you feel the sputtering of the engine (signs of low fuel), switch to reserve (can be done while riding with enough practice!). Take note of your mileage, and from then on, you'd know roughly when to refill your tank before you need to switch to reserve..
