Hello riders, im about to get a 2nd hand Vara 125 from shop. My attempts to get vara privately from forum was not successful due to insufficient cash and problems in getting loan. Im planning to get my Vara 125 from Mah motor. They promised me a full servicing and 1 months guarantee.

 

What i wanna ask u bros is what should i look out for and anything else that i need to know. Btw bros, where do u guys buy ur parts...as in high windshields, crashbar, etc etc.

I want to see the world and i'm pretty sure the world wants to show a little something to me.

Hey Finrod, excellent choice of bike.

 

Do check your interest rate, should be 6-7.5% and no more.

 

Vara engine should have no problems so just check rev up and check that it revs without hesitation. Do have a test ride if poss. Slow move off like normal bike. Fast move off should be 4.5k to 6k on tachy.

 

If you encounter any problems after purchase, you can always check with the vara guys here for simple diagnosis. I dun trust Mah's mechanics from my past experience. They substituted by air filter with a SPONGE!!

Once i get the bike, i plan to go to shop of good reputation to check the bike overall. Heard from my st11 riding younger bro that KNT is a good shop. Im thinking of adding panniers but dunno what panniers......givi or HnB. I saw some outriders with HnB junior, how much do they cost eh?

nope..i just went to this bike shop near my house and ask him to check the carb...and he say the needle need some adjusting..after some test run the bike seems ok...

If you want EBC brake pads for vara 125 let me know. Ive no use for it and selling off more than 20% off retail . Its unopened and brand new.

Getting the bike tomorrow. It will take some getting use to with regards on the riding posture, habits and capabilities of the bike. Cheers to adventure and to riding as a whole!!!
