haha...been through Endau Rompin...on a fairly good day... and its bloody farggin shaq!! :faint:

 

although heard much abt it...can only imagine how the infamous WET suicide ride must have been......pheeewww...

Just count 2 of the 5 times as unplanned and reluctant trips :angel:.

 

If you do it slow and easy like me, Kg Peta Endau Rompin isn't too difficult.

 

The joy of pimping up your Vara125 will never come close to the ultimate orgasm of an offroad trip. You are the latest to prove that Kg Peta is not too big a deal even for the humble Vara125.

 

There is already a hint of doing Selai for the next trip. I give you the pleasure of rounding up the Vara125 riders.

Hi guys, I hope this is a good place to ask. I'm rather new to this forum (posting), and I've fallen in love with the Varadero 125 for quite some time.

 

Just got my license two months back and I'm intending to own one for long-term. Means I won't upgrade license or bike any time soon. Given my age (20), is it very costly to get a new one now? Anyone knows the price recently?

 

Or is it good to find for 2nd hand? Though it's a bit risky cos I know most Varadero riders have been to very far places (mileage issue). Heh.

 

Need advice on this. Thanks! (:

 

recently a number of seniors have sold their bike and a few new riders just taken over. most of varadero owner taken good care of their bike. this kind of bike can last you very very long with regular service. also not much choice for you to choose in 2nd hand bike as vara owner relunctant to part with their long loving babe. new vara cost $13,505.00 w/o COE & Insurance from boon siew. keep in mind, this is not a sport bike, don't expect fast pickup and speed. varadero 125 only for gentle-man.:cheers:

haha i jus brought it for $70 at FJT the ppl there is kind... jus hope to sell the stock one to earn back some money... btw wat engine oil ur all normally use??

Good choice. AT handlebar stronger than the stock ones.

 

Alot of parts can be bought at FJT.

 

I bought before balancers and Front beake signalling component. If u dunno the part name, just bring ur bike or the part to them and they'll search the manual. Something like Dealers manual.

After riding this bike for so many years.... I dare to say.

This Bike Is Good.

The senior members in this thread may remember me, who have disappear for so long.... Hahaha...

 

I had been riding this bike since 2003. This is my 6th years. So many had asked me to upgrade but I asked myself whether there is a need to? This is not a speedster bike so it can't go that fast. If anyone is riding for speed, should have bought a class 2 bike.

 

Varadero 125 is class and elegance in its 2B class. It physical design is a head turner. From the first day I rode on this bike till now, I always have other riders looking in envy. Makes me proud somehow.

 

The other point why I like this bike is it extremely big and strong fairing for a class 2B bike and the tapered tank. For the 3 times that I fell, my leg was unhurt. All because of the protruding fairing and leg space at the tank.

 

The only time it can't start was due to the age of the battery. Regular servicing ensures this bike keep going. The bike was first registered in 2002. In it's 7th year, it is still performing well. My FC is at a range of 21-23km/l and I am a hard rider.

 

This bike is indeed a good investment. My review after 6 years of riding.

 

My Bike spent more years with me than my wife... Hahaha...

I'd definitely buy from someone in this forum if I'm looking for second-hand. (:

bro...look at last posting by psykool, he is selling his vara.Good owners and never go further then Kulai....(that I know of)try PM him.Bike - 10/10.

My 2 cent worth....unless u riding long then u might thinking to buy a new Vara cos veri XXXXXpensive leh 13-15k for a 125.Super 4 also that price.The money can be well spent on doing up the bike.
