hi guyzzzzzz......

>>>Daystar...regarding the chain noisy problem..after you wash the chain...then leave it to dry or u can move around and let the chain heat up abit before you apply the lubricant...like spray of high temp grease..but using grease...u have to let the grease dry for about a day before u move again...if not once it heated up it'll splash all over everywhere...so better use spray lah...:thumb:

>>>Pingster..we'll try asking about some speedo advice from Paul lah..ok....

my servicing date will be as mentioned below:

Date : 30/11/04

Time : 10am onwards

Where: Paya Ubi Industrial Bldg

2) Change Spark Plug..NGK Honda Original---approx. $8 each x 2 = $16

3) Oil Filter...approx...$6

4) Tighten my Chain...Free also...hopefully....

5) Tune my Carbeurator Timing.......$$$$..???? (i think should be free lah)

>>> Daniyal....tell me when you want it....????

or you want me to pass to you on WEDNESDAY...???

all vara rider 125,

now i really got abit of time to share all the vara tips n trick wif all bros:

oil brand doesnt really matter cuz real good oil doesnt need alot of advert to markets product so if it cost more ya paying for its advert, but wat matters is to use the rite climate so ya engine dun heat up too fast during jams or long journey, even if ya engine dies out at start up or in the morning its the oil too for current climate cuz some mech will recommand oil dat is un saleable k....juz saying its better....well i tried almost all brands n climate stuff u guys talked abt so its best way is to try it ya self but make sure ya know whacca doing n rpm plays a part in fuel transmission

oil filter

best to change after 2 oil change every 8000km, the original honda is n can tell the diff compared to ah boy made in thai $5-$6

engine additive highly recommanded by me cuz my driving instructor told me abt stp oil additive blue can, i tried wif n w/o really smooth n pick up better, if u wanna try my bike den u know wat i mean, but those who tink otherwise its ya call beb....n juz pour during evey oil change juz abit only k? btw he is ridin a haya n 50yrs dude....hehe!

Chain n sprocket

replace ya worn out chain cuz it eats up ya fuel more than buying a new chain slowly if ya very calculative, use rock oil or pj1 lubricant for ya chain cuz i hv tried n tested it smoothen ya chain like bees to honey n REALLY silences the noise than using diesel or watever cheap alternative which causes long run prob n wear to ya precious chains n sprocket which can last a year or longer if uses lubricant but better if put scotoiler into ya bike really worth the money :p

clutch cable n bulb

vara 125 uses the same clutch n bulb as vespa, to last longer use phoenix halogen $8, brighter n less heat n clutch can use scarmbler one very kau kau if ya rough rider like me...hehe!

tires

do u know dat u can get better pick n distant n save fuel by using low profile tires cuz less weight n more ground contact compared to heavy enduro tires meant for atleast 650cc n above u dun wanna stress ya 125cc engine rite it will die faster den u....tips to consider even if ride slow but ya rpm goes to 8 juz to move off ?

but if looks ya priority its ya call dude...hehe! enjoy slowly eh?

wat i hv done to my dero

1. suprione $48

2. rk 250ex gold chain, front 13, rear 41 $170

3. air filter service, spark plugs change, tune n wash carb $78 half a day.

4. newfrens high intesity front brake pad $25, rear ah boy $16 very noisy, time to change soon....hehe!

5. pirelli sports demon rear $120, front pirelli mt65 $90, maybe next time using pirelli dragon corsa wet dry $300 each tires....hehe!

6. honda oil filter $10

7. stp oil additive $8 can, will last 6 oil change..good stuff....

8. rock oil chain pro lubricant $10

btw gtg, simon later i will find web site abt the piston that make ya dero run 140km/h haven red line eh?

and oso bad stuff abt k & n air filter which damages our bike n alot more prob with wrong mods.....if i got the time.....cheers mates...........!

WELCOME TO THE DARK SIDE...

2004 Honda Varadero XL125 ride to tour

2005 Ducati Monster 400 for track use :p

2006 white r3 spec gen2 manual gear for pimping hehehe!

Hi guys...

This afternoon went to check out a workshop that Niti went to change his fork oil seals. Dunno whether it's the same one?

Anyway I went into this KHS motor to get a quote from them regarding the fork oil seals.

Normal seals: $22/- including fork oil

Teflon seals(recommended by an engineer I know): $30/- including fork oil

Guess wat? Tomorrow evening I'll be going there to change my fork oil seals. They only require half an hour unlike the one I previously went which took hours and didn't do a good job and much more expensive....

They didn't pay me for advertisment. I just feel it's a good deal.

Teflon - Tetra-fluro Ethylene Resin (Generally known as TFE or PTFE).

It has good chemical resistance and temperature resistance (can still function at a constant temperature of 120degC). It's strength is higher than normal rubber due to its composition.........etc.

For the above differences, the difference in a few bucks is worth it.

Whew, ,

Juz did my servicing and checks at GHC by Ah Wah.

Change oil 1litre (didnt use fuchs as still got remaining rock oil), 2 denso spark plugs and oil filter(self-supply). All for $36. He also checked my chain, brake pads, sprocket and rim conditions after i requested him to check. He did everything very meticulously and treat every bike like his own.

He mentioned my condition (after check) can be considered as "tip-top" :cheeky:
