hehe. did u say it bcos u own one? hehe. i know very reliable, thats y can see u guys travelling very far with it. but as the bikes r all quite old, things breaking down is unavoidable. that's where the concern for parts will come. so r the parts still easily available or must ordeR?

 

most parts are easily available...rectifier, starter motor...etc etc....go to Bikeworkz or KnT no problem ba....so far wads is needed should have no problem getting.

Hi Guys, I recently bought a Vara 125 and it has been off the road while i wait for my test (next week). Could you recommend a good garage to get it serviced? Also as the battery has died I'd need them to come pick it up from my place (Near Holland V).

As i'm used to travelling far and ard 100-120km/hr on the cb400, i don't know wether vara can do this as well. And how about maintainance? What is the rough price for tyres etc? Thanks guys!

If you want to ride at 100-120 constant then you better stick to cb400. Vara max speed 120. But my vara cant reach 120. But my vara cant reach 120 unless going downhill. Maintainance wise its very good. Normal 4k-5k change engine oil and alternate your oil filter. Spark plug not so frequent. Tyres i change to semi offroad front n back cost abt 300

anyone know where to get ermax windshield?.... was quoted 210 frm motoworld which is really ridiculous cause a friend bought his for only 120.... anyone know where to get?

Same as brandnew, my vara can't do 120 unless downhill, 110 on flat roads. But max speed isn't the biggest issue, compared to cb400 vara has no acceleration, especially beyond 90 or so. Still a great little tourer.

Seriously Vara is a good choice of Bike. Yes admit I ve spend quite a bit due to wear & tear repaired at Ah Beng till now going strong & gonna renew my COE for sure.
