our vara izzit better to use semi sync or full sync?

got some problems starting in the morning, have to pull the choke to get it started.

last time dun have such problem....

dunno whether izzit becos of the engine oil or spark plug??

the problem seem to start after changing them.

btw my idling speed is 1500, that wat the manuel said

Presently, I am using full synthetic. As advised by some, it is actually a waste of money. I am still doing it bcos my bike is for weekend usage, so being low in mileage, i give it good food so it wont fail me on my rest days......

 

Like that, then i can enjoy life......riding is freedom...CHEERS

check on fuchs website

they recommend semi-sync for 4-stroke touring bike

correct if im wrong,

full sync mostly for sport bike?

here comes the BAD VISUAL effects again....boy...come on this forum is not only for vara 125 or 1k only but strom, tdm, gs cuz when ya hv more frens ya can share more knowledge n experience da thing ya nvr knew....as a matter of fact the thread states it all no own should argue abt it its abt riding passion, with style man...btw The VARA is our pride we cherish it together as long as we can endure, nobody is perfect so try to accept others flaws

 

 

 

most important wat unite us is the honda varadero bro, in the future everyone for sure will upgrade thier bike including u visual n me cuz its human desire to try, to know, to feel, to fail, to succeed in life....i maybe young but i am happily married, bought my own 4 room house, high pay job etc but i dun look down on other who hv less than me cuz everyone deserve to be respected but its ourselves who hv to earn it in life...enjoy eh?

 

 

pingster how long ya haven change ya engine oil? btw i tink ya oil is too cold type.

fully syn or semi syn..its ya choice expensive or cheaper u want, better engine care or less, i hv always used fully plus additive cuz i love my bike so much....hehehe!

bros, my insurance would expire soon, on 5 jan.

 

1. by what date do u guys suggest i renew the insurance?

2. would it be better for me to stick to the previous insurance company (mitsui

sumitomo) or try to get one with ntuc?

3. let's say i better stick to mitsui sumitomo, do i need to go to their doorstep to

get my insurance renewed or ask mah pte ltd to do it for me?

Niti,

you can renew anytime as the new insurance will cover the period from the time the old one lapse.

Mitsui is cheaper than NTUC. I got my 2nd or 3rd party one for $315. 1st party from NTUC cost > $700 as i was told because Vara are classified as Scramblers.

(more risky?)

You can walk into any shop to renew your insurance. I think they get a little commission.

Pingster...my advice...juz stick to fully synthetic....yes..it is for racing bike...but...it has extra ingredients to so called to prolong your engine life...not only, it will help you go extra mileage..but not much lah...furthermore, ur bike is 3 years old i presume...so stick to fully synthetic...mechanic advice...juz sharing...bro...by the way..wish us Happy Journey to KL!...

Anyone can be straightforward but r u prepared to deal with it? Spare a thought for how others feel when u speak. Not asking u not to speak but be tactful.

so no issue.....

its not as if visual is chasing [60km/h] out of this forum or vara1k not being welcome to this forum etc...

agree wif you, sometimes u need to play ard wif ur words wisely, if not wrong intentions may got ard.

pingster, how much of the STP Engine oil additive ya put btw another additive i oso use is petrol treatment n can put a bit if too much ya engine wont start one....hehehe!

 

btw wat daniyal says is true abt fully synthetic n wat i mentioned earlier in prevoius post fully cares more for ya engine rather than semi k...cheers mate!

 

smicerboy will u be organising trip up to jb where we all can pump cheap petrol, makan, jalan abit cuz me everyday work very sian liao...hehehe! i dun mind tagging the vara 1k moreover alot of them i have yet to meet too...like baghera, vara...etc too many to mention....enjoys....!
