cos after i change my engine oil to full sync, i got little problem starting up, dunno whether izzit related to the oil. anyway juz ordered fuchs semi-sync comp4, mayb can see whether is there any different when change to it.

I think same goes to most touring bikes .. hence a thicker oil would work better.. semi syn would remains thick even at higher temp, hence the time it stays on the cylinder wall is longer. so lubrication wise is much more even and better... my 2 cents worth

also Z from biketech21 also recommend semi for vtwins...

I tried motul 300v (I think) , its semi syn... not bad, I can see my bike would not get heated up so easily durin stops and jams... as compared to the previous motorex fully syn I was using...

niti & al-simmons me next week off on sat den mon-fri free after 3pm onwards....oso going to change my engine oil at ghc yishun...really done my bike near perfect till go there on wed ask ah wah to inspect but all good....hehehe!

fully syn heats up like frying pan during jam unlike semi syn...tired almost all engine oil but fussy abt viscosity n brand actually...

 

pingster i only use v-power at jb sg too ex one ah bro some i hate it when my petrol finish fast one so i prefer mileage over power which is too little too feel on a 125cc so me use esso 95 red juz like the color n price....hehehe! i put STP petrol treatment after every top, pump the tire, spray rock oil chain, lubricate my clutch n brakes etc so save more mileage like dat one...

 

niti i tink $30 the most but tell ah wah ya my fren cuz i told him all varadero riders are my fren but maybe full house this month alot of ppl wanna go inspection so send to him....

that explain why it feel so hot while i stop.......

I gotta agree that our bike is really hot , its like a frying pan like what u said, & i certainly would not like my nutz to be fried

varas wats the difference between semi syn n mineral cuz my fren car use mineral he told me ya can over ya service mileage like oil cuz different compound or something?

byteblock i got the original low screen for spare but maybe need to use to pass inspection as per my previous owner dunno abt dat cuz i still prefer high one cuz i hate puddle splash on my nautica tee whenever it rains n i didnt bring my jacket....hehehe!

 

abt getting high at work....hmmm...dunno how to say cuz i love my job....do my own roster so i know my off one n timing n really plan my day quite tight cuz need time for wife, hobby, food, siblings, pets, alot liao...some more i love to shop but very kiam siak abt price one so alot of surveying n bargainig b4 buying much longer than girls dats y i shop alone my wife cant stand my draggy n choosy habits...hehehe!

300v is fully syn kekekke

 

as for mineral oil , I only know that its the basic oil with no addidtives added.

Would try to find some info for you guys to read up.. I also half past 6 standard abt the properties of all different type.. kekeke
