Send ur bike to workshop and have a full check.

Basic thing is lubricating ur chain and oil change.

Super 4 is a relatively low maintenance bike.

If it's the screeching noise might be the front brake pads worn out, if your bike still under warranty go back to the shop ask them check and change. I ride a S4, just maintain it regularly (Good EO, plugs, cooling system flush and check) other then that just watch out for wear and tear (chain, sprocket, tyres etc)

Ride safe bro.

sometimes screeching sound can come from a over tight caliper.

imagine u jack up your bike and when you spin your front wheel, it doesn't rotate much (long)

imagine the toll it takes on your fuel consumption and brake pad!

Well, this is 1 of few possibilities for the sound u get.

Super4 has many riders in this forum, sure they can help u here

Used S4 version S from1998 to 2008, now Yam FZ6 Fazer. Points to note

1. engine oil most important, preferred fully synthetic every 10k km mileage, can diy oil change, can get from Ah boy Motorex 4T fully Synt @$17/lit.

2. brake pads front , SBS sintered pads from Motoworld @$35/set, frt wheel require 2 sets. Rear pads preferred organic pads by Isumi from Kin Tai Motors, Desker Rd @$12/set.

More info on ploys bike workshops try on unsuspecting riders to get more business, for their pockets, of course. pm to me.

screeching noise emanate from vibrations bet metal rubbing surfaces in contact with the pad. These are 1. between caliper piston and pad backing plate and 2. between pad pin and pad edge. Which assuming pads not worn to backing plate. Countermeasure is by applying thin smear of copper grease or anti-seize to those surfaces.

Bro, did I read wrongly... you service your bike every 10K. I was told to service it every 5K.

there's a lot more of physics in riding a motor bike compared to driving a car. Fork oil and twin shock rear suspension oil needs replacement every 2 years due to oil degradation from constant swooshing. Steering head bearings aka steering cone, gets worn 3-4 years, lift front wheel off the ground, feel for any notchiness from lock to lock - you may upgrade to taper roller bearings instead of std angular contact ball bearings. Watch out bike workshops will seek to balance carburettors($120-150) and replace spark plugs(4 x $10) even though your bike is perfectly OK. Factory fitted wheel bearings usually of metal shield type(suffix.2Z) which over time allows grease to leak out and grit to creep in causing damage - you can choose to use rubber sealed(suffix.2R) and where possible from SKF or FAG, cost slightly more but last much longer. Bridgestones by far the best value, affordable and good quality, no Dunlops please. Tyres differ by their carcass construction and most importantly their rubber compound, hence their variety in pricing, you must do your homework before buying.

I am riding SPECII now, this year is my SPECII 9year old. Service ur bike every 5K-5.5K, plug every 20K, brake ( of course no need to teach you la) change when it is almost finish. Oil filter change every 2 service, Coollant change every year. Airfilter change (non-washable) / wash every 3-4 service. For front brake either is ur brake wear off or ur brake harden it will give you a Squeeeee...sound. My got it after I E-brake once. Go and check brake for wear off. Bike shop you can go at UBI, kaki bukit, bukit merah.
