Does the website shows all offence. I suspected I beat red light kena caught and if beat red light offence will show at the website, how long it will appear. 3more days to 2weeks.. I don't want wait till letter come!

 

Side note: is it possible if the camera flash once only? if possible also kena? cause that time is at night and after turning then i saw the camera. I looked into the camera for split second and i saw a flash into my eyes. NOT VERY BRIGHT but still its a flash imo. IIRC its only one flash. but my pillion say not flash leh is machiam green light for the other lane appeared.

29. If I have been booked for a traffic offence today, when will my traffic offence records be reflected on EDDIES?

 

EDDIES only reflects records of outstanding traffic summonses issued by the Traffic Police. If you are being investigated for a traffic offence but have not been issued with a traffic summons, the records will not be reflected on EDDIES.

 

For example, if you have been booked for a traffic offence and issued a traffic summons on the spot, the traffic summons records will be reflected on EDDIES after 2 working days. However, if you have been booked for a traffic offence such as hand phone driving that requires some investigation, the traffic summons will only be issued after some time upon the conclusion of the investigation. In this case, the traffic summons record will only be reflected on EDDIES after the traffic summons has been issued upon the conclusion of investigation.

 

 

So it's also possible for the offence to appear on the website after 2wks?

depends, even a straight pavement parking might take 2 week to issue.

if u're worried, just check eddies for a month, that'll confirm u get or not. yes, 0pt= no demerit= no offence commited = clean record.

i dont know, maybe the flash faulty or u see wrongly. it's up to u what u write to appeal if u get summoned. however do note if they have photo evidence, very hard to succeed, unless u can provide a soild convincing story. the only way is to plead guilty for a lighter sentence.

 

my advise, forget about it. what will come, u'll eventually get it, take it as a lesson learnt. who knows, u might not get summoned. just take care on the road n ride safely, u wont want another summon on top of ur current maybe summon which might cause ur license kantong right.

maybe the flash you saw was reflection from another light source. especially at night, it can seem like a flash. i've heard the flash from camera is very bright and noticeable

not so serious la, bro, unless u drink drive or hit another person, that's another case.

since u P plate get 12pt means cannot commit another offence for another yr, from ur offence date, not ur pass date, else ur licence kantong.

ok i pass on 11/11/10, let say my offence on 20/01/11. So on 11/11/11 I got 24 points, but I only left 12 points, if i kena 12 my license revoke.. But I nvr kena any, on 20/01/12, then I will have fully 0/24 points huh.

ur "pass date" is after p plate or the date u pass ur TP?

i assumed its after u pass TP, u only have 12pt

u only award 12pt if u clear 1yr clean record of no offence; any offence, it takes 1yr to be earsed. and no, u dont get 12pt every yr if u have offence. max pt is 24.

huh? i still dont get it, same what after p plate.. if i pass my license after one yr then i start riding, i need not put p plate right? so within 1 yr of license i got offence, then after my 1 yr if passing, i don't get the other 12 points? so must clean record then got 24 points? wth sia.

anyone knows if kena how long the letter takes to come, its been two weeks. i checked FAQ they say need investigate. but mine is at night 1 plus an no car at the other lane need so long to investigate? hope is not kena at all.

of course i will learn, can't you see i am worrying like f now =/ and just 2 wks ago on the fri i beat, till now no letter and i went tp website to check my demerit and outstanding summon. all don't have.. confirm only 2wks? my friend accident case for reckless driving took 1mth plus.. i dont wanna be relax for nothing.
