ok thers one more thing i found out and maybe cos the prob too.

but i have to ask the x1-r'ers out ther: have you guys seen your airbox before? i mean open it up.

when my mech opened it, theres this tunnel leading to the carburator. is that tunnel suppose to be emtpy or is there supposed to be an air filter there? cos i cant find my air filter anywhere. gosh..

Airbox/Air cleaner is install somewhere between the ignition and battery (*not under seat)

before air been channel into the carb a filtration device must be present else fluid/dirt/foreign objects might end in the carb, OEM X-1R filter are paper type cartridge form...

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

I'm sorry i didnt mean really directly under the seat. haha yeah after i got the manual i got to know where it was. i even bought an air filter(OEM). and my bike did have dirt and rain into the carburetor but that wasnt just the cause. my carburator was runnning way too rich. this is because i stupidly followed intructions from a foreign country website where they tune their carb richer so they can reach higher top speed. lol. ive tunesd back to factory setting and all is good. i just have to rectify why my bike overheats if i try to travel more than 110km/h for more than 5 minutes.

my pressure plate used to be abit slanted at rotating, and that made me shift gears difficult but. its fixed nw. tho i still notice it slant abit. might be the cause. and also maybe doing a full service. where you guys can recommend a shop which can deal with cubs?

insufficient eo/lube will trigger temperature warning too..

less oil/pressure..dissipitation of heat is too slow..temperature will shootup in engine..and raidiator temp goes above warning limit..triggering the warning light..

i love my ezzyoiler

thanks for telling me. that cleared my doubts. Basically, lesser EO can ultimately cause a rise in temperature. This is due to the lesser oil not producing enough pressure to dissipate heat fast enough, thus causing the bike to overheat?

ok i think i actually just rephrased ur sentenced, but yeah. thanks dude!
