YOW!! Any DN-1 rider here??? DN-1 ??? what's that??? Well I know there are several riders out there but not sure if they go to SBF. Anyway, I want to start a new one because DN-1 is a scooter and yet not really one and since I love both scooter and bike and especially shaft drive transmission, so hopefully we can get the ball rolling.

I have had 2 deauvilles and since basically DN-1 uses the same engine and thus I feel it is a very good but not so power scooter. it doesnt help that Dn-1 is more heavier than the Deuville. but i cant help enjoying seeing the sitting mode like riding a cruiser man. i only wish it has 2 rear suspension, boot spaces, cheap price , more beautiful colour , and lesser weight.

I saw it in Mah's showroom recently. Seems like a hybrid between bike & scoot. Not sure how much iszit?

quite many of these around. universal and boon siew. around $23k. u believe??? i dont think including coe. its got to do with increase in yen value. everywhere it is the same, in us it is about us$15k. u figure it out. except there their import tax is not that high. in malaysia, it is worse. it is more than 2x our price here. about rm$60k.

ya most jap bikes and scooters went up by 1 to 2k in price. for example a silverwing i bought in Oct 2010 cost 16150OTR, now it cost around 17500OTR.

Hi there, i got my DN-01 2.5 yrs ago. Its d best ride i ever had since 1985, had almost 20 bikes before n nothing bits the DN-01! We have been up Thailand many times over n have never given me any problems!The DN-01 can reach 0-100 in less than 4 sec flat, n my cursing speed along NS highway is around 160km/h +. gone 200km/h in afew occasions. Japan Engineers took 12 yrs to develop Dn-01 HFT Tiptronic engine, i believe its no way close to any scooter engine out there.....Hope this information is usefull. Thanks

Hey Dino, I know it is a great bike. I dont mind paying for it but i find it is expensive for a 650.maybe the technology is advanced. it is the only bike with all those technology with shaft and auto. the nearest probably is that aprilia. but it is not so nice looking.i have no doubt that you enjoyed her very much to thailand. psst: incase you wanna sell her when she is 5 years old, call me, yeah????

DN-01 was shown in a Korean drama recently on Channel U - the one about the 3 brothers one. One of the police subordinate is riding it.
