just becareful at SLE exit to BKE going to johor. i accident there last week. i called it the 10cents corner of death.

  Tyrian said:
that corner is famous.. tink i have fren's fren who was dead in dat corner.. :weep:

  WiIIiam said:
actually that corner is fun. i hav tried tat with my busa n the feeling was shiok. jus imagine u jus need to open your knees u can rub the road.

but careful.

Because it's a double apex, caught out lots of riders when it tightens up before the exit.

Apart from that, the debris and oil from trucks/buses is horrible too.

I like this turn pretty much myself, but I would not knee down and commit myself. There's no run off or room for error. And I'm ball-less without my armour

is that micheal's fairings in the MO section??

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=165300

Nope....these should be those made in china fairings selling for USD$500 (SGD$750) here. I read from fellow bikers, they dun fit well, and most use them as race fairings, though the AMA members comment these fairings might not be repairable after a crash. But then again, SG anything also can repair, just that the workmanship and reliability nobody knows and nobody cares.

But I guess if I have a sportsbike, I would consider one of these and put them on instead of OEM fairings.

Cliff, gotta knock your head a bit....now still friday leh, not even lunchtime yet.

The test is on Dec 15th, 0930hrs. I tried my fren's bike yesterday, not bad, quite nice to ride, like Super4. I accidentally put my feet on the passenger footpegs, as if I was riding my 748

No no.. these are not the china stuff. If I'm not wrong these are good quality stuff that I've seen before. Exactly like OEM fairings, or even better durability.

You know what? I flunk the test  Damn me leg footed during a clockwise circle turn. While doing the second turn around the same circle, and lost balance and well, you know the rest.

:sian:

Will try again....will not give up.

As you were saying, the whole damn reason that I fail is I simply forgot the basics! Like gripping the tank, lean the bike instead of the rider (counter lean) during tight and slooooooow turns!!! I am absolutely kicking myself over and over again that I return everything to BBDC after all these years.

While practicing with my fren's bike, I was thinking what went wrong, and why I ride like a chicken. Counter clockwise is so comfortable for me, but clockwise is so weird, simple no confidence at all. I then realised that I was trying to straighten the damn bike and shifting my body into the turn.

Stupid me.

Ryan is right that I should not try to hang off

Those who thought I would pass, well......odds could be kelong, wahahaha.

Check these out. These are made in China. But then again, at these prices, fully painted, it's affordable. Some claims it's "back door" fairings off the factories, and created a lot of hypes in the US forums. But when they got it, it was not exactly well finished, not exactly "perfect fit", but hey, who cares if it's a trackbike right?

Just posting on what I was researching while I'm bikeless, lol.....did considered the 748 fairings before, cuz you know how I am, I had been chanting so much about spare fairings for track.

I will say go for it, just that I feel my friends should know what to expect
