Hi all,

jus got my S4 ver S from someone.

Would really like a good workshop whereby the mechanic is very experience wif S4 so he can check if there's anything wrong wif my bike.

Currently, i feel that it's really underpower compared to my friend's ver S.

Pls offer some recommendations whereby the mechanics are really good but not overpriced. thanks

hi am new to the S4 as well. not sure if am over sensitive...my bike's new, just finish run in. just now seem to observe that when i move off, there's this droning noise. is it normal or hv i not been observant or just a silly qn? pls advise.

Big Project 1 is one of the earliest version for super 4 after version R. It is known to have better mileage around 25km/l (mine bp1).

hi.. i'm a newbie too.. jus got my vtec 1 for a week.. difference between spec and vtec: NONE.. some say spec, some say vtec, some say batam.. haha... for example... super 4 spec 1 is actually super 4 vtec specicification 1.. hope i helped in one way or another.. i love this bike!! super 4 rules!! cheers...

hmmm my hubby & joy said the same thing. haha but it's a gd way to tell which gear u r in.

 

is it common to feel a bit choppy when u brake sometimes? dun think i brake v hard, while bike in motion, i think i down a couple of gears towards the traffic light.

 

oso, do most ppl put scott oilier on their S4 here?

 

MEAR hmm the mesh i think is not just cosmetic cos it helps to prevent small stones fr hitting ur radiator. put a mesh on my bike too cos some old birds told me to do so. anyway, i used left overs fr them.

wah lau...all sounds so cheap...today i went to change engine oil and oil filter cost me 98 dollars!!!!

Castrol R4 at $20/litre

oil filter is $18

at motor power trading end of geylang lor 30

 

well...just got my super 4 1 week ago..

 

 

i dunno wat to do wif my super4

steering seems to have prob too

i admit i'm no expert on bikes here but 20 bucks per litre for castrol R4? got so expensive meh? :confused:

i am riding FP plate, i have a hazard light. FP is one of the first VS.

oh ya, that bike shop like to cheet when you are new to them or they find you , you are not sure of the price. i wnet there a few tiem when i was riding 2B bike until i find an other shop near Lor 18 there, after the shell. But now, i never go this 2 shops any more. as this shops do 2B bikes then 2A or 2. now i go to HKL. they do a better job for big bikes.
