Hey guys, I need some help here...

This problem started a week ago. While riding, my speedometer pin will fall down to zero. Not only that but the bike starts to lose power and if i try to throttle up, it will just be very slow in picking up speed and stutter like as if there's a shortage of petrol. And after a minute, it will be back to normal....

I was told it could be the speed sensor fault but i am reluctant.. Could that thing get spoiled easily..? This is the first fault i ever had with my S4...

Any advise???

Facing the same issue , what is the problem sir ?

1) S4 which version..

2) Speedo digital or analog?

Digital - could be wiring

analog - could be the cable.

3) Same got shortage of petrol? (loss of power)..

If got shortage of petrol/power - most likely not speedo issue or speed sensor

If your S4 is FI - Fuel injector or throttle body dirty..

If your S4 is carb - need to wash carb..

But can pour in fuel injector cleaner and see if it happens again or not.. if no, then good.. save money in repairs.. if yes, then need to open up and clean..
