One of my HID on my car blows out.. so i left 1 side and decided to install on a bike.. Before that i would like to asked have anyone here try putting a HID system on their bike??

2005-2007 Gilera VXR

2007-2008 CB150

2008-Current Suzuki GSX-R 600

2010-Current Lancer GLX 1.6

i believe many pple here have installed HID system on their bikes.. do note that its illegal.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

I think what TS is trying to say is whether the bulb will fit his bike socket. Is it like a one size fits all kinda thing?

I have seen quite a few bikes come and do wiring harness change due burnt harnesses.

 

Putting on a brighter than OEM headlight can be dangerous to your wiring harness. And wiring harnesses don't come cheap. Think about it.

he should be aware that there are different kinds of bulbs, h1, h3, h4, h7 etc.

ouch. but all else being constant, ie HID have been installed properly, if the stock uses a 55w bulb and the person uses a 35w HID, would it still have this problem?
