Question:i paid deposit for a 2nd hand bike

lets say i paid 500 deposit for a kips and i've signed on the dotted line, now i'm awaiting 10 days to collect the bike as its send for respray, if during this period of time i dont want the bike anymore i lose my deposit?

most probably yesh.. but sometimes lose half and 99% all.

i haven encounter any bike shops that refund deposit.

unless stated refundable deposit in the contract u signed. or mayB u and the bike dealer got some mutual agreement on refundable deposit..

Not sure about that..Maybe there are some important things to take note in the contract that you've signed..Normally those are in fine print..Anyway you so much $ to throw away is it? Give the $500 to me la I need a respray too..Ahaha..

yes, u will lose the deposit, thats wat deposit is meant for. if deposit is fully refundable then it defeat the purpose of it.

wah lau what happ? $500 is alot man........... if you go back to the shop, dont ask questions like "i'll just lose the $500 right? anymore i need to pay?"

 

if you ask the question bove, kana some knn shops, sure kana chop. if you are already confirmed that you dont mind losing the $500, go down, act like you are surprised that you cannot get even a single cent back, then in the end just act, its ok, nevermind kind of attitude...

hmm best is u get the bike and straight away sell it off urself at a maybe lower price so u wont really lose that much. rather than giving $500 to the shop lo.
