Just getting a fresh new look and getting some minor parts fixed, plus the paperwork.

 

Nothing much. Just some low costs ideas and solutions gathered from all over the internet from my weeks of research, to improve my BB. Mainly aimed at performance and handling, nothing that will burn a hole in my pockets as i have limited funds. Though it will probably take quite a while to gather funds and parts to implement them.

Hi bros,

In need of your urgent advice.

 

1) My frend bought a BB from Looi's, comes with aftermarket micron pipes (Street Legal).

But shop did not provide the certificate, citing that previous owner lost it

 

2) I have intention to take over the pipes from my frend.

Is there anyway to get the pipe re-certified as Street Legal and have it transferred under my own name?

 

Please advise whether this can be done, and which shop can do so.

Most likely need to get Micron agent or the bike shop where it was originally purchase for record

Regarding your situation, if memory serves me right, you will need to go to the local Micron dealer, pay them for a copy of your street legal exhaust certification, then go over to any authorized inspection centre to pay for an inspection, then go over to LTA to have it registered to your motorcycle plate number. Or something like that.

Thank you both for your advise. Yes that is the most logical and correct approach.

The problem is, Micron exhaust distributor in Singapore is now defunct. I heard Mezzo now handles the admin portion.

I went down ytday evening to see if they could help, but unfortunately the person in charge has went overseas and wont be returning for a month.

Im left with no other options now... damn

My own bike is now still fitted with ori pipe.

 

Worse come worse, i will have to forgo the change to a pair of fabulous aftermarket pipes sigh...
