The above was my previous thread & I finally bought my first bike, Honda SP.

Here's the problem(s) I face:

Problem1:

When I kickstart the bike, the engine runs, after awhile, it just died (I did not throttle, still in neutral). After that, I tried kickstarting but still cannot. I shook the tank hard, waited 30 mins, then pull the 'air plug?' (Not sure what it's called) then kick start then can.

Problem2:

I move off in gear two, while trying to throttle, suddenly no power, engine died! Kickstart again still cannot. Did the same above mentioned method then can start.

Are the 2 problems above common for SP or 2 strokes bike? I just changed battery, spark plug also.

Do posts other problems that usually arise for SP! :thumb:

I went back to the shop on Monday, then he lower the idiling to 1.

Then everything seemed fine, until 11pm, after work tried to kick start. Wa piang, bike dont want to start. Waited for 1 hour, then kick start, open throttle full blast, then engine started but still v v weak.

My friend told me smth about bubble start?

Just got back from shop, he helped me clean the thingy below the petrol tank, the one which is connected to the valve, seems to solve the problem, for now at least

Went for service again, this time he removed the socket, and combined the wires manually and taped it. Is this good?
