The consensus might just be true bros, alot of this were wrong with my gsr when i got it, when i decided to change the sprockets and chain, the mech took out the front sprocket and i had a huge shock as the front sprockets teethes were pointed sharp and bent resembling a hook..

Hi guys, when you purchase a new bike, does it normally come with comprehensive insurance or is it only fire and theft?

Depends on the Bike shops, different shop different policy. Most of the time of them doing that is to save moni at their end and also giving you a good deal. If you are not happy with that. There are 2 ways to bring the insurance policy up to comprehensive from Fire & Theft.

1. Ask bikeshop to calculate the total amount with comprehensive insurance coverage. I am sure the price will rise. As for me does not matter, comprehensive $800, Fire & Theft $500. hahahah

2. After getting the bike, call up the insurance company that you wan to top up to make the coverage comprehensive. They will calculate the amount you need to pay to make it comprehensive.

Yups can be done. I know so far GIVI has em. If you really interested, juz deposit some cash for the shop to order. No point you wait. When shop says no stock means you need to order. Anyway juz need to wait maybe a month or so for the item to arrive. In the end it your decision to order or not.

For those that installs Yoshimura R-77 Exhaust system, I got some spare 3M Sticker that can be cut to size to protect the exhausts from unwanted 'heel' marks caused by pillions.

Yes it is legal. As for price you better check with Hodaka Motoworld since they are the distributor for Yoshimura. There are a few range so prices will vary. Then range will be $900 to $1400.

I checked with my gf if her shoes would in contact with the exhaust she said won't as there's a big gap... Den I checked yr yoshi out an realized yr bracket mounting the pillion foot rest is shorter than my akrapovic ones.. That's why I think u would take precaution on sticking the dry carbon :)

To report, now got front fender extender already

http://www.pyramid-plastics.co.uk/catalog/images/050400%20GSR600%201%20WEB.JPG

Why should get?

Designed to protect your bike from debris thrown up by the front tyre.

The extenda fender helps keep rider and bike cleaner, cuts down on paint damage on the lower fairing and also protects important parts of the bike such as the radiator and oil cooler.

POISONED!!! BROUGHT TO YOU BY me.....heheheh

Let me answer one at a time.

1. front fender extender - I dunno how much have not check with the distributor. Not bringing them in since not enough capital. Hahahha. Its from Pyramid Plastics and the distributor is M-Technic.

2. Yoshimura R77 - Best to check with Hodaka Motoworld. Quick and grab! You will be the 3rd one if you do hahhaha.
