Hi guys, may be thinking of getting a pair of side boxes for a new bike. would they fit a helmet- full face modular.

if not, any recommendation for a helmet bag?

basically i can't just clip it to the side of my bike, and I have to carry my helmet around with me now.

If u want side panniers that can fit a full face it will be very very wide.. That means 95% of the time u cannot lane split anymore.. There are some panniers that can fit an FF, like H&B junior 40L panniers.. Personally i'm using H&B journey 42L panniers, can even put 1x FF and 1x open face both inside ONE pannier.. As for givi i don't know..

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

Lane splitting is still possible. I do it daily without much difficulty at the expressways.

For small roads, it will be more challenging. Most of the time, I keep to my own lane, switching lane safely when there is safe space.

BTW, if u are keen to buy a 2nd hand 40L H&B Junior panniers, can pm me. I may be upgrading to Xplorer panniers for more convenience due to top opening and more regular shape.

How to say easy or not? Some bikes are slimmer, some fatter, some got wider handlebars etc... If ur panniers width is lesser than ur handlebar, den u can easily agar if u can squeeze or not (with ur handlebar). If ur panniers fatter than ur handlebar, den u gotta be more careful.
