I went around on my own today, visited Ducati Sydney, then took a train to downtown. It was raining, so its damn cold.

Anyway, I met an owner of a Ducati Supersport 1000DS. He used to own a Hayabusa, then after he bought the Ducati he sold his Hayabusa. According to him, the Supersport is a much more fun bike to ride, and none of his friends on sports bikes can keep up with him on the twisties. The handling is that good, and the engine is torquey enough, although not as powerful as the Hayabusa, but he said the Hayabusa is ridiculously powerful, not very usable power.

He is going to upgrade to a 998, cos it looks better than a 999, he said "You'd wet your pants, and you'll never want another bike"

SHiok shiok hor.. get oneback lah.. At this moment still like busa maybe yrs down the road change to soemthing else.. however, thinking of riding a high tail low fork bike for touring seems very uncomfortable.

:giddy:

It's very true that busa is overpower especially in SGP.. rmp nv get a chance to cross 3.5 rpm. *for my case.

Ducatis are special, and they are race proven. Which manufacturer uses the exact same chassis design and engine layout across the range, from superbike to streetbike, tourers to enduros?

The trellis frame, 90degree L-twin engine and signature Ducati sound are all part of what makes Ducatis very special. The engines might not be as good as the best of the Japanese engines, but it is the most powerful V-twin engines, air or water cooled, and the handling is undeniable, from the smallest Monsters to the most exotic superbikes.

But $$ also alot la, haha. Somehow I just like Ducatis, if they are not your taste, then good for you, noneed to spend so much money to be satistfied :thumb:
