Is it true that these helmet/accessories shops will only be interested in dealing with any customer only after you tell them what bike you have?

 

And if you are checking out the items available, they wont even take the items from the packaging to show the actual item?

 

I am just wondering, how can a buyer know what he really want to get when he cant see the product?

 

Better still, is it common to be told to go get your bike first before going to their shop to get the stuff?

 

Some of us may be new riders yet to have purchased our rides. And if we make the effort to drop by these shops to check things out, does it really matter whether we get these helmets/accessories even though we have no bikes at the moment? Can't a person purchase a helmet without owning a bike? Same goes for someone going to IKEA even though he may not even have his own apartment.

 

Did anyone else here experience the same thing when checking out items? Is it normal to be asked what bike you have, and also to return only after you have purchased your bike? A snub, or friendly advice?

reason why.

-waste their time because they think u no $ or not buying.

-they ask so they can recommend a helmet.

-stereotyping - 2b-2a poor ppl - buy open face or cheap helmets.

-stereotyping - ducati, mv type - sure show u arai,shoei,agv,suomy

-stereotyping - 2b-2a - wear FF = siao.

 

I ride a Wave S but wear OGK FF4. Safety first. imagine an accident that kena ur jaw. u might be drinking through a straw for months.

I think it doesn't matter what bike you ride. Tell the sales person that you have a deep pocket and rides only a kup kia. So what's up with that sales person who served u??? Stuff back that bitter pills into who ever...

 

I am selling products to BMW, MB, Porkys, Mini Coopers, VW and Audi car owners. I serve any one, who ever, even they walk in with singlets, shorts and slippers. I serve them equal.

think i got my FF4 gunmetal 3 years back if i remember correctly and it was price at $360 or $380 so dont bother asking me the price now.haha but hey somebody updated the price already.thats nice.

 

if arai agv shoei are way off...just get OGK FF4 or 5..it is damn light and damn good IMO.now looking for a pillion helmet...choosing between mhr and evo..

 

hey evo come from which country ah?i know mhr from hongkong..but no info on evo...

last checked on 18/08/09, they only have gunmetal(gray) in S size left for solid. (must insist then they will find for u)

 

Apparently the OGKs that came to ogk aren't that light. Sg version are the 1.6kg version. there's a 1.4kg version.

i just measure mine from those 2kg weighting machine..my OGK FF4 is around 1.4kg.thats why i love it..hah.
