hi ah min, sorry i mia coz my line not working so couldn't log in to chat till now. i changed my L5 to sunday (7aug) 4.40pm coz i was on leave on monday so i thought if i passed on sunday then could go & apply for PDL the next day. Wah really so zun. very happy now. actually sunday 4.40pm slot is very good for evaluation coz there are only lessons 5, 6 & 7 plus the class 3 learners so you have the whole circuit to yourselves.

how's your lessons going? when is your next lesson? mine will be on 18aug @ 8.50pm.

cheers!

hey angel, have you gone for RC before going for TP? nowadays they have special trainings during RC to help you pass TP leh. what they did was based on the results of recent TP tests & tackle the problem. findings showed that most common mistakes are wobbling when moving off, stopping & negotiating bends so they train you to do lots of cornering. i tried the special training & it helped when i went for my evaluation.

i'm sure ah min must have tried this too. how do you find it?

cheers!

yeah i know. The instructor also told us to come for a few more RC. I seen them doing the cornering and banking thing inside the circuit also. I know myself lah.. i m not a very good rider so i think i need more practice also.

Yeah i know what u mean ! They're pretty lenient on Sunday 4.40pm sessions. I also passed my Lesson 5 on Sunday at that time slot. Lesson 7 and 8 even harder to book! Lesson 6 still ok.

Anyway yeah thanks for letting me know again abt the "special training" thing. I'll definitely go for a few RC as my crank course and figure 8 quite wobbly still.

Wish me luck, my TP is sept 15.

Yupz i discovered it by chance on last Sun 8.35 slot.. i came late so din even noe there was an instructor leading the RC until i was at the Ebrake.. looked across and saw they were at the banking section.. so i did a short cut and juz crashed in.. signalled to the instructor and he nodded.. hehe.. (in fact i'v been doing that evrytime i saw got instructor at that section.. end up i always crashed in with the Pract 1 students.. hehe :cheeky: )

WOW.. SHIOK man the new RC.. taught us to corner wif max speed, use engine brake, change gear, corner.. while telling us to maintain our head directions.. all at teh same time .. COOL

i LOIKE... hehe.. ended up almost doing some unintentional stunts.. :cheeky:

my advice.. DO GO FOR YOUR RC!! :cheer:

basically just pass your TP first. just take into account mileage, paintwork, age of bike, any mods before determine which bike you wanna take. there may be some factors i left out. don't be compelled to buy the bike just before they are your friends.
