Trex>> Welcome back again for the ride...finally u bike is out & ready to spin. Going to get the side box...time to upgrade for bigger & better box. Givi 36litres find it too small, my last trip even the 41 litres box also not enough space for me. Maybe bcos of bigger storage space, we tend to buy more. :cheeky: GPS yup...still serching for it. Maybe next year will buy one for next long trip. Any new face lift of your bike...

stantheman>> 1stly don't scare abt the size when going to ride it. Once got it, everyone will stare at your big bike especially riding in thailand with such bike. No regrets getting it. As for spare part, shld not be a problem, as long we a have list of honda part suppliers. U would surprise our carb model rectifier cost much more cheaper than african twin bike.

323Protege>> my 1st OEM fuel pump break down ard 22k at mersing trip. Lucky someone brought it. So lesson learn, always bring spare fuel pump when going for long trip. Now usiing Mutsui Pump still work fine after abt 46k

chrislayer>> so u confirm going for phuket this Dec trip.

Chrislayer>> just set aside rm 300 for petrol & break at NS highway will do. In Thailand (Phuket trip) i spend 1830 baht for petrol . So u should know how much to set aside just for petrol. Malaysia price still remain as rm 1.92, much cheaper than thailand. Remember to pump before enter Thailand.

bslong76>> goodluck for your sale, and remembe to intro new members here.

yancurly8>> welcome to our vara community...i sure our bros here could input as much info if you need help & trip ride. Just pm your contact number, and will inform u our next meetup or ride.

Kenny>>gg to MHS next week. Weather in chumphon...i think every part of thailand still very hot, except Doi Inthon. Our last Dec trip, reach CM & MHS also feel very hot. The best timing is end Dec to Feb. Heard that most part of CM covered with thick fog as i got the news when Phuket. Enjoy ur ride & keep us updated. Take care.

323Protege>> interested in joining them for the ride

Seems like this year, alot of ride for all vara bros....finally my trip blog to Lanta & Phuket is out. Hope u guys enjoy it.

Kenny>> i think if u r not stoping at chumphon should be ok....surat thani to chumphon quite straight highway. Maybe Chumphon town near to the coastline so can easily get flood. Krabi got floods, lucky the weather was fine during my trip.

Weather forecast in thailand

seems like u have to ride with a wet weather over there. Be careful & take care.
