I think the design resembles an organisation like Singapore Shooting Association - dats why yancurly likes it...

Anyway...the initial star design was proposed by Yancurly. I just make the 5 star in 3D look & the wording in semi circle since the straight wording would be too simple & bore. I try not to add too much stuff inside & make it more complicated eg. singapore flag that initila thought of, after putting it, look ugly, so the 5 star with our big V (look like crescent) symbolize our singapre flag. kekee.

The small empty space we can use black marker to write/sign it at the sticker for events/trip ride or signed with our signature and pass to the other bikers group that we met. Maybe we will chose the white background for the start. Hope Ian can get it for $ 1 per pcs again for mass order eg .100 pcs.

Just the wording in full circle with our varadero & five star in it. Written venue of the trip instead of wording Singapore can be consider....but the mass order for the sticker need 100 pcs (unless can reduce 50 order) , so end of the days we will be collecting alot of spare sticker after every trip. Anyway is good to have the venue of each trip written we went eg. Colmar/KL May Trip 2008

a)

the design wif big-stars ideal for hardcore design-freak bruder like me to use the pattern to make an embroidered patch.. may stich onto my riding jacket, vest or etc. ;

However, before doing this, one suggestion wud be:

1) to use the word VARA only... instead of the full VARADERO even dou its great and veri majestic looking...

2) shift the stars and the varadero adventure riders asia slightly more to the right.

3) lastly put a circle ard it ; maybe with a white space border so dat can input some writings like wat u mention; ie: trip journey, nick, etc..

 

Alternatively, the second design; tink it wud luk nice to reduce the font size of the Varadero adventure riders asia wording & it be perfect!!! also good to make an embroidered patch.. Will feel like sheriff when i place it onto my daily jacket.. Imagine "Walker, Texas Ranger!"...

 

b)

the straight logo ideal for stickers, shirt design or even towel!!! khe khe.. solid, bold and eye-catching... maybe can do a VARA flag and take pic wif it whenever VARAs travel... add the multiply website address as a finishing touch. SWEEE!!!

 

 

Btw, when i went down to 219 earlier, spoke to Jason who works dae. mentioned dat VARAs got newdesign cmg up... may wish to print stickers dae oso.. he say welcome anytime and thanks for the support... should be able to get good deal esp wif Ian's charasmatic negotiation skills!!!

The first one swee...

Day 4: It started off with Fuji again first to wake up... Send the dirty clothes to laundry,

exchange Ian's wrong size bermuda which he bought the day before, go to the pharmacy to get

antiseptic cream, ride past lamai beach and roaming around Lamai town.... accomplish quite

alot in the morning while the rest of the gang are sound a sleep. Fuji get back to the resort

around 0930hrs and try to wake the rest up.. by this time all of them had woke up and wash

up... missed the morning breakfast so ian and Fuji went to the macdonald to get breakfast. Got

back to the resort and have breakfast happily... after breakfast, the gang went to swin at the

resort swimming pool... had loads of fun with ian doing the surf board stunt, didie with the 1/4

sommmersault dive and fuji the olympic 67 lap around the pool... finishing off with all of the

gang doing synchronise swimming.... Went back to resort hang out abit and went to fix didie

windshield..... "Stock"... Fuji went to get the laundry back from the laundry shop.... we set

off for another adventure trip to bophut beach to find the billabong surf bar for the bungee jump.

found out from a nice lady name janet that the bungee jump is conducted at chaweng beach just after

the reggae pub and not at bophut beach. Off we went to chaweng beach.... got detour to the Big buddha

temple due to just nearby the area... got there took some photos and did a little shopping. now

off we go to chaweng beach for Fuji's Bungee jump... reach at the Samui bungee jump and got 2 person

prior to fuji for the jump... kinda exited watching the guys jump... now it's fuji's turn... very

nervous before the jump while the operator securing fuji's leg to the 2 bungee cords....the cage

went up to the top of the crane about 50m off the ground... got squeking sound while the cage went up..

fuji sat down in the cage while the operator gives last second instructions... step up to the ledge of the

cage slowly while he count down from 3 2 1.... as he did...3 2 1 .. no turning back now... bungeeeeeeeeeeee

let FUJI tell you.... IT WAS EXILIRATING... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO........!!!!!!!!! after the jump

fuji was shaking non stop for about 15minutes.... after regaining his composure, off the group went to soaking

in the beutiful water of KOH SAMUI at chaweng beach..... nice beach, nice water, nice view and most importantly

nice company.... it's getting dark and went back to the resort very tired and wet... had a quick wash up and

went for delicious dinner at sebinglea... nice seven course dinner for 4.. and cheap too... after dinner still

really full, the gang went to massage.. fuji don't know what happened cos he was sleeping through out the massage

session... paid up with tips and got back to the resort to pack up and sleep... got an early morning tomorrow...

ian and fuji going to ride down to hat yai while didie gonna stay in koh samui for a little while longer.....

Yeah bro, i got to drive, just for the fun of it. It was fun as usual wrecking other ppl's suvs. Not my money and accidents do happen. But minor ones since it was mud. Nothing major. Yeah man, samui is crazy huh
