It's time to gather our vara together for a ride. If u r work ,just take a day off or exchange duty with ur friends if u can. I'm sure we will have another fun & great meetup with the rest of the guys.

 

Lastly, Our ex-vara Riddick need our vara Bro's help for his Big Day. He would like a Vara wedding convoy on that day.

I'm organising another joint ride to Kulai for Nasi Lemak with the Freeway Bikerz. Its a short ride abt 37km+

Spent a very nice day with KC shopping ard UBI for bikes today. Went to many places. The stelvios at Looi's are still my fav of the day. Tsk. and the fjr's too. Very nice bikes lah. I din know ubi actually had so much to offer to the window shopper. Very nice.

 

Now to a lil more serious stuff. Went to southern motor for a hear check earlier today. Had a most appreciated change of oil. The baby is running sweet now.

 

However, upon inspection, its was found that i may have clutch housing issues. Anyone who has had issues of the mentioned before?? Any advise.

 

Also today did a bit of q&a with the southern motor salesman and was told that he will take in my bike at 5.5k only if the COE is extended. KC's DILI trading had the same to say. So i guess i am stuck to the VARA after all. Without COE extension, they will only take it in at 4k.

 

Got a very healthy sounding quote from Southern for the repairs though, which was the highlight of the day. I was quoted for tensioners, timing chain(even though he said that it could be salvaged in most cases, meaning might not be necessary to change), coolant flush, clutch plates, clutch housing, valve clearance, a set of gaskets.

 

Good quote, David, did you get the quote from HKL???? Let me know how much it is yeah??? Thanks bro.
