Hi guys,

Help needed.......I think there's something wrong with my H.I.S.S on my Vara. I turn on the ignition and the lights on my speedo console doesn't light up thus unable to start my bike. I've done checks on my batt with a tester and it shows 12.4volts, checked all my fuse....none burnt, put in cashcard into the IU unit and it works, and lastly the clock on my speedo still show the current time.

What can be done to rectify this problem besides sending my bike to workshop??

T.I.A for ur help.......

as request this is our vara face book.

speaking of heavy bikes... i notice the pressure in my tyres drop really fast. I believe ATwin had warned about this previously, but can anyone explain why? only specific to vara?

the tyre pressure on my other bike remains quite constant for months at a stretch though.

Few causes for ur problem

1) tyre valve might have cracked at the sides causing air to seep out slowly.

Solution: change air valves, L-shaped ones works best for repumping air.

2) under pressure of tyres causes slight cracks to develop. Dis causes tre unable to retain air properly as again air seep out.

Solution: check with foam to se if cracks exist. Best to change tyre to avoid unwanted mishaps.

3) if ur using metal valve cap, it tends to gain heat and expand. Causes air to seep out after a ride when heat travels from Tyres to the valves caps.

Solution: change to plastic ones. Retain air longer as it doesnt expand for air to seep.

Hi, where could one change the L shaped tyre valves at? Autobacs? Or any tyre shop?
