Playstation 2 price.

so any idea how much it cost me for a new modified set? Bundle?

 

i was offered $200 c/w 20 games for a 2 yrs old unit. worth it?

Quite reasonable , but do hope tat the lens wun spoil after a few mths of playing as the set is already 2 yrs old . Lens might have worn out .

erm actually i do have one set too but is around 3 years old the lens i think still in good condition coz i rarely play the ps.. haha

My friend said he bought brand new PS2 slim modified set from jb holiday plaza @$220.

Yes, go JB Holiday Plaza.

 

It costs less than $220 SGD modified, comes with 2 controllers and u can bargain for more games....Bought mine over there but careful when crossing the border back to SG. Best is to take out the PS2 and put in normal plastic bag and if asked by the customs, just say u brought it over to JB to repair or to play at ur aunt place and bringing it back.

 

There's a tax to be paid for bringing electronic stuffs over the causeway.

they just take 2nd hand units, clean it and look new and repackage it into a new box and then sell it to you.

 

correct me if i am wrong. coz during 3 years ago original ps2 was $400 there are somepple selling ps2 new one for $200 . but to find out that they were refurbished ones. (meaning that unit of ps2 did not meet QC test and was sent for servicing by engineers and resold)

Wah scary sia.... but i feel that the number of games being produced for ps2 getting limited liao so buy now may not be so worth it

hehe.. thanks for the advise. thinking whether should I still get one now since all other new consoles so expensive.

but for someone who has not been playing for 2yrs like me.. think play the old games also cant play finish..
