Sorry, i always thought that to renew COE, one would have to bid for the paper and only get the COE if your bid is successful.

u mean we can just log into onemotoring.com and make the purchase online and settle the renewal of the COE?

Bidding is only for new COE. To renew, simply go on-line. The price will be the prevaling PQP.

Call them 4 weeks before the coe expire. They will tell you the PQP NOW and also the PQP for the next bidding(when your COE expires). You can then make a decision on when to renew. For me, i paid for the cheaper one(obvious).

if it's just a few mths down the road, just renew when u see a drop.

if it's a 1+yr, better wait, unless it's real cheap.

when u renew, all ur coe left will be forfeited.

COE Rebates only applies if you plan to scrap the vehicle. (Correct me if I am wrong). If you are renewing COE, it will be the average of 3 months of COE. Example Jul 2011 is $2001, Aug 2011 is $2000, Sep 2011 is $2339 so The average of the 3 months for renewing COE in Sept 2011 is ($2003 + $2000 + $2339) / 3 = $2114.

the best is lets sae ur coe expering in sep..renew on sept also so as to avoid late renewel fee or if u c a drop in coe prices ...
