the belt itself only costs $160. labour depends on shop i guess. and yes recommended every 15000km. it only uses 1 spark plug btw. cheap to run IMO.

1 shop quote me $450 for full service ( belt, rollers, u clip)

 

Another shop quote me $250 for the same full service.

 

Depends on which shop u go to, difference in mark up can be quite a lot. If the shop told u maxsym needs 2 spark plugs then I think u should reconsider going there for servicing liao.

Make sure they service clutch while u are changing the belt.

2nd pix shows the switch touching the washer, if without the washer, the small thingy will missed the switch...

the belt + labour is only $190...

unless if u do full transmission service including rollers then it cost roughly ($190 + $75 = $265)

 

Belt not necessary every 15k km..i ask Mah, they say recommended is 20k Km

but i ask this ah-pek at my neighbourhood (he's riding GTS200), he say he riding at 40k Km still havnt change the belt...lol

 

Sparkey only uses 1pc @ $5 for normal and $18 for Iridium

Bike back from hospital.......

 

Battery failure. Damage $200.

 

They tried their best to resuscitate former batter but the bugger won't hold charge. So no warranty claimable as they don't insure battery. Lucky on them!! But in all fairness they did their best to try to find exact fault and isolated the the cause to be the battery, I was there to see it. Plus they are professional enough to waive off labour charges.

 

I had them re-tighten all my tupper ware, bolts and serviced my rear wheel nut - Indeed there was some free play.

There's Ram mount via brake reservoir cover, and there's another clamp type on side mirror stems.

 

Search in GPS city, ebay etc.......plenty there.

The one on the reservoir no need drill. It comes with a longer screw and spacer to install the mount base.

Jux top up la. Cux running in ur fuel consumption can be quite high according to most riders here. And different rider diffirent FC oso. So at least u can get an estimate of ur maximum mileage from thr. Shud be able to get at least 300.
