i oso nt sure coz i juz told him wat i wan to change n ask for total damage.n tis wat i found on page 33:Original Oil Filter

- P/N: 15400-L4A-0002 $15.00

 

Gear oil

- 75w-140 _ 85w 140 agip $15.00

 

Engine Oil

- Agip Fully Syn 10w-40 $25.00

 

he told me the gear oil os nt 75w140, is 120 oni

 

i think i will go buy redline n change

Guys I need a little help, today I went to do my 1k servicing and I recall that some where in our past thread someone mentioned something about eo filter. However when we are change my ride eo we can't find any eo filter. Can anyone enlighten me on that. I only managed to find the eo drain pluh with the spring and mesh. if there is any eo filter where is it? can anyone show me please and what eo filter are we using. Is it the same one as suzuki burman 400.

This is where the EO oil filter is located.. U need to open the black plastic transmission cover first in order for u to access the oil filter cover (3no. 8mm bolt screws) and yes Burgman 400 oil filter can be use for MaxSym too..

Does AC have the rite gear oil? What kind EO does AC carry? Looks like I'll be Heading there next.

 

The other time I went Taihin they told me they had the gear oil specific for maxsym.. Guess not than.

Did u go back to the shop where u bought the bike to do the 1k Svc? It's amazing they can't find the EO filter. Or did you try to DIY?

I am never a fan if tai hin. They tried to carrot me on the simplist of all fixes on numerous occasions.

Looks like need to blacklist that shop. They charged me $10 labour just to wire my rear box brake light although I did other things like EO change n fix electric horn with them.

Every 15000km as stated by the manual. I saw my belt when the mechanic removed it. There are some cracks in the middle of the belt grooves already. But not sure how much more it can stretch.

Open up inside and clean to get rid of the dust. Over time the dirt and dust will accumulate and cause ur belt/clutch to slip and u will feel lose acceleration n top speed.
