Open up inside and clean to get rid of the dust. Over time the dirt and dust will accumulate and cause ur belt/clutch to slip and u will feel lose acceleration n top speed.

oic, thks bro,btw taihin told me tat our bike after 5 to 6k the clutch will slip, izzit truth?

Yes mine nw ard 6k. The clutch start to slip because its glazed. This caused alot of vibrations at low speed. So the remedy is put the front wheel against a kerb, put on handbrake, hold ur brakes, then rev to 5-6k rpm for about 4-5 secs. This will burn the clutch and help restore the grip on ur clutch pads. Should help abit.

i parked my bike for 4 days without riding, just now started it, voltmeter shows 11.6v before start :thumb: was usually 11.9 if i ride daily.

i also noticed after changing of coolant the bike feels a lot more heavier at the front..

Nothing to worry. Do a search online n u will see its a common problem for all scooters with CVT. wen u ride gently and always go low speed like during traffic jams, the clutch gets glazed easily. This is a quick n free remedy instead of having to go to shop to open up and sand ur clutch pads.

So does hit clutch eliminate the issue or will also end up the same after some time?

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Probably less likely since the clutch has a lock-up feature that prevents any slippage. Downside is u might experience a jerk wen d clutch suddenly engage. Can tune to ur liking using different springs though. But the basic workings of d clutch still d same. If u always go low speed n allow the clutch to slip n overheat, it will still glaze.

Not unless if you change to a higher tension spring so it will harness enough torque before releasing it to the clutch bell. :D Call me if you need any help!

Hi Andy, I suppose you have Class 2A, and secondly you are asking for opinions between Maxsym vs GTS 200?

Well for more than 200cc and equate that to the price you are actually getting twice of most things.

If money is not really a concern get Maxsym, cos GTS sort of run out of breath cruising above 100km/h. On the other hand if you are not looking at speed or distances GTS serves more than it's intended purposes already. To each his own, this is a Maxsym camp, so you will get more votes on the Maxsym definitely.

All the goods and the bads are well discussed from page 20 onwards. Cheers.

OR.....You can also top up a few K above $7.4k to get a used Maxsym 400i. (Buy mine!!)
