U mean when d bike fall, its leaning at 45 degrees? U nv see whats supporting it ah? I always tot d handlebar and exhaust will touch d ground first? U r lucky i guess. Usually those super tight slow turns i will just keep d bike upright n walk d bike while throttling abit. I find it rly hard to lean n hold low speed. Normal u-turns okla.

 

bro i know what caused the miracle liao! its the passenger foot rest! my gf was on the bike when it happened. she hopped safely out as i dropped the bike slowly.yeah, it wont totally drop flat on the ground. the handle bar was about half a meter from the ground. i could not see as that meant i had to walk around the bike. and at that point i did not want to hurt my heart by inspecting the damage. LOL

ACM close at 9pm. but u should call ah choong to tell him u cummin down if u plan to go late.

So ur passenger footrest got damage? Heng la for u. Scooter so much plastic. Stationary drop oso can burn big hole in wallet. Ride safe yea? now at least u knw d limitations of d bike's leaning angle.

ok dropped by taihin ytd evening cux decided to switch out my rollers for Dr. Pulley sliders. it was $95 w/installation + $15 for cleaning transmission (but use my petrol lor! GRRRR!)

 

stock rollers are 15grams. was tempted to go for 14grams but scared might sacrifice too much on the top end (higher cruising rpms). so i opted for 16grams since @rusty83 mentioned his 18grams didnt really have the pick-up for overtaking on highways, though he can cruise more comfortably.

 

so my thoughts: much smoother n faster acceleration. this is because i notice on the stock rollers, wen u go WOT, it usually go up till 5-5.5k rpm only. rmb, our peak torque is at 5.5k rpm. although these sliders are 1g heavier, it manages to pull up to 5.5-6k rpm, dats why d pickup feels better i guess. crusing rpms not affected much though.

 

cruising at 110kph shows slightly over 5k rpm. almost the same as the 18grams even. possible that this is due to the variator design of maxsym? by right, the cruising rpms should be lower lei. maybe some experts can chime in on this.

 

overall money well spent. less than $100 for much nicer riding experience. now just need to monitor effects on my FC (should be higher cux i find myself always revving hard to overtake! LOL!) as well as the lifespan. my stock rollers still look good at 7.5K km. oh if go taihin, make sure u dont kena psycho to change to hit clutch ah! the boss keep pushing me to buy. got one set left. luckily i no cash to get it. HAHA!

I just went to Mah to check out the Maxsym and was directed to a year old one. The condition wasn't very good and things like the dashboard storage and seat cover were out of alignment and couldn't close properly.

 

Wondering if it's just due to the previous owner's usage, or is it the materials and build quality are more budget and therefore not as good?

It's only water vapour condense on the inside. And its only visible after headlights are switched on for awhile. Makes the signal look cloudy. Only my left light affected. May get worse in future so just send in.

 

Anyway I just collected my bike. Nothing done. They need to send pictures of it to Taiwan for warranty claims. Wait about 3 months wtf.

Anyway I just collected my bike. Nothing done. They need to send pictures of it to Taiwan for warranty claims. Wait about 3 months wtf.

I also went to MAH today and saw that bike. Red color with FBF7566H, the seat cannot close properly and the dashboard compartment cannot close due to broken on the pin. Beside this, the bike look nice and less scratch. Was quate 9k for the bike, how much MAH quote you?

last time i have problem with the HiT Clutch from Dr.Pulley, 1 of the Pillow Spring is broken and i must change to new set (ok get many at first time).

Than this Spring also get broken.

 

I send many picture and many email to Dr.Pulley (mr.Paul) direct and ask why this will be broken. He ask me many time and i send every time all questions back to him.

 

Last i ask for price for all Springs for Pillow and Clutch for Maxsym 400i and also for the Slider Roller for Maxsym 400i.

They ask again: which partnumber, ok i send back the Partnumber which i have and ask for PI for some Parts (proforma Invoice) and than i check again my Spring which i still have and change the Order. No more Support from Dr.Pulley.

 

I think they only can Sale but the Aftersales Service is very Bad. If your guys want buy Dr.Pulley HiT Clutch.....Good Luck.
